Fran and Ian made me a wonderful bacon butty before heading off on their adventure. Communication was good, as was the village location and the bed but the kitchen was a real cooks paradise. Buttons, the cat, quickly adapted to using my lap when she wasn't sleeping elsewhere. I highly recomend this sit for Buttons, Fran and Ian and the great location.
This pet sit was delightful!!! The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas inside and outside. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Quiet, safe neighborhood close to any stores for shopping you would need. Maui is a Siamese cat so is completely loyal to his owners. He came to me the first night while watching tv but no petting until the 6th day. He has a simple feeding routine to follow and once he was coming to me and letting me pet him there was a lot of talking with him as he meowed. :) I would be happy to pet sit for Michael again in the future.
What a joy to share 1 month with Bella in this little corner of paradise. She is such a nice, gentle, lively dog who loves cuddles and loves walks. spending a month with Bella was really simple and full of good times, we already miss her! Thank you again Julka and Danilo for your kindness and welcome. You are people who brought the sun, with a big heart and so generous. Thank you for trusting us, we will keep in touch for sure! Take care of yourself.
I'm very new to THS, but the time I've spent at Sasja’s and her little zoo (Peppi, Nala, Simba, Dobey and the chickens) has been a great experience. The family's home is very well located, quiet surroundings with a gate leading directly to a park, which gives plenty of opportunities for short or longer walks with the dogs. It's also not far from Copenhagen, so you can easily choose whether you want to spend a few hours in the city or more calm outside in the nature. The warm welcome of the family and dogs the day before made it very easy to find your way around, and during the stay communication was easy, with no misunderstandings. Although there are three dogs, they're all very friendly and special in their own way, and walks are always fun and not complicated at all. Inside they're also always welcome for a good cuddle and have captured my heart :) Thank you for this great experience, looking forward to another time to sit them :)
We have spent three beautiful days in the lovely house of Bel and Duncan and had so much fun with the dogs which have so much energy ! And the cats have brought us some peaceful moments, petting them on the couch ! Bel and Duncan were very available for us when we texted by phone which was great. I recommend this house sitting !
Huge thank you to Karen for her generous welcome to our family on this magical housesit. Great communication with a zoom call beforehand so we all had the info we needed. Karen left us homemade bread and cake which was so lovely of her and greatly appreciated by the children! The house was spacious, beautiful and with breathtaking views. We had a wonderful time with all the furry friends - Mabel & Neil were fabulous, very loving but so well behaved and we enjoyed walking with them on the surrounding hills - they also coped fantastically on the lead on a little trip into Buxton to Pavilion Gardens & the lovely high street there. The indoor cats were hilarious characters who clearly loved the attention - with the whole family there they always had a lap and a pat when needed! The barn cats were understandably cautious with us but became bolder as the days went on. Rodney the pig was super easy to care for. He was happy to see us but clearly living his best life roaming around his extensive paddocks and hills that were his terrain..typically followed by a few chickens 🐓! The chicks were great and supplied us with very tasty eggs. All in all we had a wonderful time, happy to help out again if needed and would definitely recommend this housesit!
