Greta & Rob sat for our dog Satchell over a long weekend, working from out house either side of the wknd. On arrival they were clearly excited to meet Satchell, which makes him so happy to the point he did zoomies around them both as they tried to unload the car, so a great start! It's lovely to have people staying who just want the best for your dog as much as you which they clearly did, making sure he had great walks and plenty of play. They shared regular updates with us while they were out exploring with Satchell, meaning we could relax and have a good time as we knew he was having a great time too! Our house was left very clean and tidy on their departure, so would certainly invite them to sit again. Thank you both!!
Adriana was perfect in taking care of Belàn and my flat in Rome, while I was away. Reliable, precise and tidy, she really loves animals. We also had time to share some nice conversations while we were together in the flat and I found her very mature and intelligent. I would definitely invite her again.

John was AMAZING! We ended up in a pickle with our dog at Blue Hole. It wasnt clear that no dogs were allowed so we drove 3.5 hours for a fun day and ended up in a pinch. He took our little pup trusting our word about her updated vaccines and took her for us she we could play. He was so kind and empathetic and trustworthy. We are so grateful for him!

Our big dog Cooper roams on 3 acres at home, so finding a place to board him that allowed him free movement was essential. Cooper has stayed 2-6 nights with Jon a handful of times over the last year and a half, and Cooper is always so excited when we pull up. I love knowing he’s well cared for, and gets to make other dog friends while he’s visiting. He even gets a bath when his stays are long. We highly recommend K-9 Retreat!
My two puppies stayed for a week while I was in California. The price was more than fair, and he just hand delivered their food bowls which we forgot when I picked them up, and both puppies were thrilled to see him! Will use again! Can't say enough great things about this doggy day care!!
I have used the doggie day care many times. It can be a little tricky to find the first time(it seems like a residence from the highway). But the care givers are very congenial. My dog loves the interaction and comes home tired.
Our dog spent a month there. He met new friends and had a great time. He was well taken care of. Great spaces for the dogs to run and play or just relax.

I've let my dog stay here a few times and everything went great. The owners are nice and the environment is well suited for dogs. The place is a bit hard to find though and the driveway could use a sign. It's the first right after Fischer Store Rd when headed out of Wimberley.
We dropped our dog off and Jon took wonderful care of him. Our dog was anxious, and Jon catered to our dogs needs which we really appreciated!
