My boyfriend and I recently enrolled our dog, Frosty, in the daycare program at Dogtopia of Frederick! We checked out the website beforehand, and we were intrigued. The first day we brought Frosty to daycare, we were greeted by the manager, Victor. He took Frosty back for the meet and greet and it went so well! My boyfriend and I were pleased with the whole experience from start to finish. Victor, and Bree, are wonderful! They both made us, and Frosty, feel welcome and comfortable. We are especially grateful to Victor for giving us one week FREE!!! I’d also like to mention that Victor gave us an unexpected, but much appreciated, discount the last time we picked up Frosty. Frosty was at Daycare for pretty much the whole day, and much to our surprise, we were only charged for a half-day! We thought that was very nice, and it made us feel like part of the Dogtopia family. Thank you to everyone at Dogtopia of Frederick! We plan on keeping this location as our primary daycare facility for our Frosty Boy!
I have a new puppy and she needed EXERCISE and Socialization. I pick her up at the end of the day and she is SO tired she falls asleep on the way home! The staff are all wonderful and my puppy LOVES going!
My pup Gilly just recently started attending daycare at Dogtopia and she loves it! I love seeing how happy she is on camera during the day, and I also appreciate how they give her breaks when she's overstimulated. Another plus for us was that they have dedicated nap time during the day, which helps Gilly stay on her schedule like she does at home. We have also used their boarding services, and one thing that my pup has never been able to do when being boarded is eat. She's picky about her surroundings, but when I picked her up from her first boarding session they said she never missed a meal and ate all her food. This was without me mentioning she is weird about her eating habits when away from home. Overall I am very happy with Dogtopia in Fredrick and will continue to send my pup there.
We took our English Bulldog to the Meet & Greet today, and we had a great time, and immediatly signed up for weekly appointments. Our boy Jax has severly bowed front legs, as can happen with their breed, and the soft mats for him to play on was a welcome surprise. The team, led by Victor, was welcoming and inviting. They paired our boy with other pups with similar energy, and temperment. They provided structured play time, and not just a free range hodge-podge of chaos. I can't recommend Dogtopia of Frederick enough.
Although I am relatively new to Dogtopia, my experience there so far has been positive. I've had the opportunity to spend time and talk with the General Manager (Victor), the Assistant Manager (Jesse), the Pet Parent Coordinator (Brie), the Shift Leader/Rover (Genesis), and the Canine Coaches (Ryan, Josh, and Tyler). These people are sincere, knowledgeable, and truly love dogs. They take pride in their work. I love the positive energy that they exude--you can tell this is not just a paycheck for them and that providing quality care for the dogs is their utmost priority!

My girl Skye is always so happy and tired when I pick her up! Everyone is kind, welcoming and very affectionate with the dogs. Not only that, but they are always keeping the floors clean of any mess they find!
One of our biggest came true in this place. We were looking for a place where I could day our dog Max for daycare (for socialization mostly) and also board. During the meet and greet all was great, include first day of daycare. We were having a special event and therefore decided to board Max for 1 night only. I was shown the suite and made arrangements to reserve with the manager. Saturday we drop off at 9am, his dog bed, food, and medication. Max has severe separation anxiety and I confirm suite would be best because he cannot tolerate being left alone in crate for too long. I confirm with the front desk girl I will be picking up at 9am Sunday, though outside of regular hours they confirmed would put note for the morning staff. I get there and no one is there, I can hear Maxie’s bark from the outside. I peak inside and he was in a crate where he could barely stand. He looked panicked. 9:30 came around and still no one there, sent out an email to the location and finally get a call from the manager. He apologized and confirmed someone would be getting there shortly. Young lady gets there 9:45am, she apologized and I asked why he was in the crate, she advised probably because of after his breakfast. Then she shows me picture of how he was found when the morning staff got there. I then realized he was never put into the suite. He spend the whole night in the crate, he bend the metal nada and he physically hurt himself. They apologized again and confirmed they made a mistake. Manager refunded my money but what they don’t realize is all the damage they have cost to my pup. He came home with scratches so deep around his nose, paws, varies part of his body. He was a pup who didn’t like the crate but would tolerate it to now being completely afraid. He had blood in his stool for days. Please be careful in taking your dogs here. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. It’s been 3 weeks since the experience and he even cries if we drive by it. The manager did try to apologize and confirm a mistake was made but I will never go back to that place. Trust was completely broken.
One of our biggest regrets was using this place. Don’t do it. If something happens to your dog you can’t see the tape trust me we know. On top of that they will give you the run around. As well, our dog was bit here for some context. Want to know what else? ITS PATHETIC that IF we didn’t pay for a Spa Day that day our dog would have came home with a whole in her neck. I’m being serious unfortunately. They found it because of the spa. They told us a staff checked our dog after our dog was attacked here and found nothing. Did they cover the charge of course they did but there’s that for you. We tell all our friends what happen and they dodge this place like the plague. Seriously don’t do it and they truly can careless about the dogs. If you love your dog this is not the place to go. I’ll reiterate if we didn’t pay for a Spa Day…on that day… they would have sent my dog home with a whole in her neck. 👎🏽 This was a year and half ago to my dog Lily June 2021.
Every time I drop my dog off for boarding they either have the wrong amount of days or charging extra for something they have never charged me before. I have never had any consistency since starting there. Multiple times they have double charged me as well. The cameras also barely ever work when I go on to check on my dog. I will most likely be switching to camp bow wow as I have never had any issues with payments or cameras there
