What a wonderful relaxing stay we had looking after Sulis and Tatters in Torre de la Horadada. They were very easy to care for. Both letting us know in their own individual ways what they wanted, whether it be food, a bit of love, or just to go out. Deva-Laya was very welcoming and went out of her way to make our stay as easy as she could. Her communication was wonderful throughout. She also gave us lots of wonderful tips of where to eat and general helpful local information. She has created a lovely home, it is a very clean, comfortable, relaxing, little oasis that was a pleasure to stay in. We would highly recommend this as a sit and would happily go back if we were in the area again.
Myra and Elaine were great hosts. We have sat for them before and we love Jake and Zephyr! The boys are so sweet and soft. Jake loving being outside and Zephyr in his cat tree. Loved having Jake to cuddle and sometimes Zephyr while we watched a movie. Both always being around us. Great area close to places yet away from the traffic noise. All around great sit and we would sit for them again.
We loved looking after Dougal and Dotty, they are lots of fun and great characters. Caroline was so welcoming and kind to us, she even left some pocket money for little girl to visit the local sweet shop
Tayo is my new best friend. We bonded instantly. Kathy and Steve are very kind and generous with their lovely space. The neighborhood feels safe to walk around. I would happily sit again and highly recommend this sit!!
We recently completed a three-week house sit at Tom and Sabineβs beautiful home, taking care of their dog, Timber. Timber was such a pleasure to look after. He is an intelligent and obedient dog, loves his walks, and is very friendly with both people and other dogs. We loved taking Timber on our daily walks through the woods and on little adventures around Nanaimo. The home itself is stunning, situated in an incredible location with kilometers of trails right at your doorstep. It was a perfect setting for both relaxing and exploring the outdoors, with deer and hummingbird regularly visiting the backyard! Tom and Sabine were gracious hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They invited us over the night before our sat began, gave us a lovely welcome, and took us for a walk through the woods to familiarise us with the area. They also provided a thorough run-down of their home and Timber's routine, which made us feel well-prepared. Tom and Sabine are two of the loveliest people we have had the pleasure of meeting, and are grateful to now call them friends. Overall, we highly recommend house/pet sitting for Tom and Sabine and would do it again in a heartbeat.
We had an awesome time sitting with Hank and Elanor. These pups are adorable, sweet, and fun. The home sits right on the Cumberland River. The back porch and deck both have great views of the river. We probably spent most of our time out there. We didn't need to make any store runs, but everything you would need from groceries, restaurants, or coffee are minutes away. The only downside was we only stayed 3 days. We would have stayed a month if needed. We definitely would love to go back if needed in the future.
