My husband and I had such a wonderful experience with both Gracie & Marcia while sitting for them. Marcia is very gracious, friendly and communicative. She went through everything we needed to know in terms of Gracie's care very thoroughly and was always available if we had any questions. Gracie is truly one loveable bundle of joy and it was such a treat to care for her! She has the cutest personality and had us smiling all the time! She warmed up to us quickly and we met many of her friends, as well as made new ones while out on walks or playing with her buddies in the dog park. She's such a happy dog and spreads that happiness to everyone she meets. Marcia & Gracie truly made this sit a special and memorable one. We parted not just as sitters but as friends who plan to stay connected. The apartment was really lovely and comfortable and as described. It's full of amenities along with the complex it is a part of. Its proximity to Stamford's lovely downtown with many shops and restaurants just a few blocks away was another great perk. Marcia gave us lots of recommendations of things to do, places to eat, shop, etc., as well as a tour of where they were located. These aspects truly were wonderful too! We're so grateful to have met Marcia & Gracie and for the friendship that evolved. We truly enjoyed and appreciated our time spent with them and how giving, sharing, kind and enjoyable Marcia and Gracie were to us. To put it simply, we very highly recommend this sit and are so thankful to have had such an all around wonderful experience! We hope it's not too long before we meet up again, Thank you Marcia & Gracie!
Squirrel and Puffin were great to house sit. Really sweet and relaxed cats. Home was clean, cosy and had great aircon for the heat. Walkable to coffees, supermarket and shops. Whitney and Ketan were great with communication and provided all information needed to keep the cats happy and home kept. Loved my stay :)
Jackie is one of the most considerate hosts I've been lucky enough to sit for. She was exceptionally communicative about everything I could possibly need to know to be comfortable and get to know Captain and Wizard. I never felt like a bother when asking questions, but the welcome guide covers almost everything one could need to know. She and Nate were generous with their gorgeous home and amenities, and I've never been in a cleaner house!! The sunsets views really are THAT stunning. Such a fun place to stay, but best of all are the companions you'll stay with! Captain is the sweetest and strangest dog I've ever met and I love him. He will take all the affection you can give him and give it right back. He has a big heart and is quite chill when lounging around the house. I agree with the listing description that walking him does take strength when he sees other dogs because he wants to play with them. Still, I walked him for 60-90 minutes a day just fine and I'm not particularly strong. Wizard is a very special cat. He takes a minute to get used to your presence but once you have his trust he is very warm and sweet. Doing his tricks with him is very fun and impressive! He's elegant and graceful. I enjoyed getting to know him and playing with him.
Scout and Pepper are such loving and friendly fur balls, and know some pretty fun tricks! Both of them tend to pull a bit on the lead when walked, but that was communicated to us beforehand and we didn't have any problems whatsoever. The house is lovely and we really loved the location, being near Amsterdam Bos. Kelsey and Brice were good with communication and were such kind hosts, leaving behind an array of treats for us to find upon arrival. We would definitely come back!
Such a lovely place to stay! Cozy house, quiet, safe neighborhood, and some of the friendliest pets that instantly become your friends. Dottie and Dan are an extremely lovable pair and make you feel very welcomed! I already miss them and would love to visit them again in the future.
