Shiela was lovely. The cats were beautifully cared for and Elsie was so well groomed . We were late back due to bad traffic but Shiela stayed on late to look after the pets.

When we returned home we found a very relaxed and happy cat, I’m not sure she had even noticed we had been away ! Paul and Mary Jane had got to know her really well and met all her needs. The house was tidy and they had managed to keep the plants going despite the very hot spell. Unfortunately they had to leave before our return, but had left us a meal to warm up when we got back, so we were able to settle back in our home very rapidly.

Grant

Grant and his lovely kids came to stay for 3 weeks to look after Willow and Matilda. Before the sit, we had lots of good communication to arrange things. They came the day before as we were heading off early and they were coming from a long way. It was clear from the start that Grant and his kids loved animals and so I was confident that Willow and Matilda would be in safe hands. When we got home, the house was clean and tidy and the beds had been stripped. Thanks so much Grant and team!

Photos of the pets were sent regularly which was nice to see how they were all getting on. The house was left clean and tidy. Suzanne was super organised and reliable . Unfortunately we were unable to coordinate a meet up before the sit but we felt happy and confident following zoom calls and chats . Suzanne and her boys looked after the animals brilliantly and seemed relaxed and happy . Jo and Jerry had a lot to learn in prep for our departure in looking after our small holding but they took it all in and did a fab job even though they had never done any thing like it before . We didn’t worry one bit whilst we were away and all was great on our return.

It’s 5 stars from us! Mike was the perfect sitter; we talked plenty leading up to the sit, and Mike even called in beforehand as he was nearby which was helpful. He arrived exactly when he said he would, messaged whilst we were away and the house and animals were all just as we left them. What stands out though is the extra mile he went; Arnie has a recent diagnosis of heart disease, meaning he’s on a high dose of medication for a while, Mike was even OK about getting up in the night to let him out for a wee for which I am very grateful. He also cared for my indoor plants; watering and misting. Above all though, Mike is just a really nice guy; he’s easy to talk to and the animals all responded well to him. We hope to stay in touch.

Cynthia/Cindy was on point. She arrived when she said she would, she washed all linens she used, the room &bath looked unused. Perfect. She sent some pics from Luna and Piper.

Steve and Donna are AWESOME!! And wonderful people. If Steve and Donna apply accept, both Steve and Donna and super friendly and big hearted people. I feel it is the beginning of a good friendship and are welcome in my home anytime.

Before the visit we met via video conference where I felt extremely comfortable enough to accept immediately so that we could plan the video/travel. During the stay Steve and Donna provided me with continuous updates and Narla warmed up to Steve and Donna quickly (Narla is not quick to trust). Which means they understand cats and how to take care of them.

Steve and Donna left the flat in an extremely tidy state and returned to a relaxed and happy cat. Overall Steve and Donna did a fantastic job of taking care of Narla and I look forward to seeing them again in the future.

Dorothy

Bob and Dorothy were so welcoming. Andy was given a demo on the ride on the mower, and we were shown around the beautiful garden. Luckily, we had lovely weather and were able to sit out and eat out too.   We visited gorgeous towns around Gloucester, including Bath, Stow on the Wold, Frampton on the Severn (really busy, parking wasn't easy), Stroud market, and little villages near by. Thoroughly enjoyed our time looking after a gorgeous home. Thank you both.
