I so enjoyed this sit! All of the animals--cats, rabbits, and chickens--were easy to care for. Megan provided wonderful how-to videos made by her children to orient me to the feeding and watering of the farm animals. I had more eggs than I could eat, and I enjoyed feeding watermelon rinds and other food scraps to the very appreciative hens and the exceedingly shy rooster. The kitties were both very sweet, and the home was clean and tidy, the kitchen well-appointed. I had ample space in the guest room to spread out and make myself at home; there was even a work-out room outside my bedroom door. Two of my favorite things about this sit: eating dinner on the deck and walking five minutes down the road to the pond for a swim! There are also good places to eat and fun touristy areas nearby. I felt very at peace at the Legges' farm and would happily return.
I can highly recommend a sit with Suzanne, Wesley, and Moo. We had great communication before and during the sit, which was reassuring as there is usually some question about the home or pet that will arise. Suzanne and Wesley's home is lovely and comfortable, and they gave me a great welcome with a well-stocked fridge and some goodies as the sit was over the holiday period. Moo is a real character and quite independent, which made his shows of affection all the more endearing. Their home is well-based for those who wish to explore the area and it is a sit I would be happy to repeat.
Candice was the ultimate host, a beautifully presented home with the most amazing pets, Zachary, Zecora and Phugly whom you will fall in love with instantly. Candice is a great communicator, extremely accommodating and has a great sense of humour! Thanks again for having me care for your pets, Mat.
I had a lovely time sitting for Giulia and Andy, they are so great and I felt really welcomed here. I particularly appreciated how communicative and helpful they were whilst away. They answered any questions or cocnerns I had quickly and comprehensively, which made me feel very reassured. Luna is such a cute cat and easy to care for. I found her a delight to look after. It was very hot weather when I was looking after her yet she took it all in her stride. The house is beautifully designed and has everything you could want. The location is also very convenient for travel around London. I am looking forward to sitting here again soon. Thanks for a great time.
Hello, my experience with Nicky and her cat was very good! Nicky was very nice and helpful. We chatted too, and she was always thoughtful and understanding. She answered to all questions in a very pleasent way:). Her cat Charlie was very nice, he liked to be petted and to sleep in the bed where I slept. It really was´nt much work and I was able to explore the whole region in this short period of time and this was great! So I had a perfect weekend. Many thanks to Nicky <3
