Sally and I had a great week in Oundle looking after Jack and George, two adorable dogs with whom we instantly fell in love. For the whole week, there was never a cross word between us and the dogs, or even between Jack and George themselves. Both dogs are so sweet-natured that we were all able to spend the week in perfect harmony.
Sam and Jon are ideal hosts who made us feel welcome straightaway and cooked us a lovely meal on the evening we arrived. We were shown around their very comfortable home so that we felt confident when we took over the reins the next morning. Sam and Jon responded promptly to our text messages whenever we needed further information or guidance during the sit.
Oundle is a lovely olde worlde historic market town with plenty of good walks nearby.
At the end of the week it was such a wrench having to say goodbye to Jack and George, and we are already missing our regular walks in the local countryside with them.

It was great house sitting for Kristin! She has a beautiful home (and view) and the animals were a delight. Lyza and my pup became besties, and Lysa is generally a very sweet, connective dog. I loved cuddling with her. She's easy going and well behaved. The dog door makes life easy, and once I figured out the dynamic with Samui, we were in a rhythm. I would definitely house sit again for them!!

We had the best time at Maureen and Mike's caring for the sweet Lakshmi, in their spacious barn conversion. Good communication with clear instructions made for an easy sit.
So much on offer to visit nearby we were spoilt for choice and managed a beach visit a national trust house also Holt and Norwich all within a short drive.
Lakshmi proved to be the perfect host, at first slightly wary but once she warmed to us we felt privileged to be allowed to brush her, she likes to sit near looking at you with beautiful blue eyes.
Highly recommend as an all round perfect sit .

Nice folks, sweet cats, beautiful home, fabulous location, *and* doing good for the neighborhood feral felines… what’s not to love?!?

Really enjoyed meeting Jami and Steven, and both Toshi and Tamale are sweethearts. I was there for a short visit, so I didn’t get a chance to know the outdoor cats beyond a few feedings, but it’s clear that they’re cared for at this home, and that they know it. Care and feeding of all the kitties, indoor and outdoor, were easy-peasy. Actually, everything about this sit was easy thanks to great communication, a detailed Welcome Guide, and a helpful walk-through beforehand.

The Heights is my favorite area in Houston, and there’s lots to see and do … AND EAT! Jami and Steven’s home is in a prime spot for exploring the Heights and greater Houston, and the home itself is modern, comfy, and clean. Movie fans, prepare to be wowed by their collections of movies and memorabilia.

I’m definitely looking forward to a return visit and the chance to spend more time with everyone, humans and felines alike.

Jami and Steven, thanks for a great visit. Potential sitters, apply with confidence… this is a good one!

We recently house sat for Sara and her husband and their lovely pets.
We were able to meet them a few days before, which was wonderful to meet them and find out the details we needed. Sara and Dave gave precise instructions and maps of the area for walking. Tilly, the 14 year old border collie, is a lovely old lady that is very easy with her care, and still loves her daily walk. One of the cats is a little shy, so stayed away, but the other cat Tom enjoyed endless cuddles and was never far away.
The property is beautiful, with a gorgeous garden, to wander in.
I would recommend this house sit to any prospective sitters, and we would be very happy to sit here again.
