Seàn was an amazing pet and house sitter! He was super communicative and took amazing care of my dog Nala and cat Bruce. They were happy and loved while I was away- I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for the two little fur babies! He sent great pictures and checked in every day so I had nothing to worry about. On top of all that, he also kept my place immaculately clean and left my place in wonderful shape. We can’t wait to have him back to sit and I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone looking for a sitter!
We really enjoyed staying in Carmichael! The house is beautiful and spacious and has the most amazing backyard with a nice and refreshing pool. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with friendly neighbors. We felt at home immediately! Steve and his family are super cool and easy going, communication while they were on vacation has always been excellent. The cats Hickory and Mr.Purr, and Jeffrey the goldfish are fairly low maintenance but we enjoyed snuggling with them even more. Thanks to the extensive welcome guide Steve left us, no more questions needed to be asked regarding the house and the furry friends. We were able to explore beautiful NorCal and the greater Sacramento Area thanks to so so many good recommendations from Steve and Jess - we truly appreciated that!
Munchkin was the sweetest cat. I really enjoyed taking care of him and giving him all the belly rubs. He was the best company and always stayed close by. Kathleen’s house is beautiful, with a backyard of trees and the view of the lake. I even saw a deer in the front yard! It’s also in a perfect location and close to DC. Kathleen was always available if I needed to reach out. Great stay, would watch Munchkin again!
Beth & Mark were wonderful hosts from our first exchange via THS to the end of our sit. They were excellent at communication and very welcoming when we arrived. Mark & Beth not only gave us all the info we needed for their beautiful home and their adorable dog Annie, but many great suggestions on how to really enjoy Salt Spring Island. Their home is the quintessential West Coast house: spectacular views and very cozy. Gulf Island living at its best! We truly enjoyed meeting them, exploring the island's trails, eateries, unique businesses and meeting friendly neighbors. As for Annie, she is one of the sweetest dogs ever! We would love to return some day and highly recommend it to anyone!
I had such a great time looking after Misty & Milo!! Once they'd warmed up to me they were great fun playing with their little toys and keeping me company on the bed 🤗 Since they have a cat flap they come and go when they please and are pretty independent, but it was so lovely having them around while I worked from home through the day. They're such gorgeous little things! Charlotte's place was great too - nice big windows and she left me everything I needed and made me feel super comfortable staying there - I'd love to come back next time!! Thanks again :) xxx
The house was lovely, they left it very clean and I stayed in the main bedroom with a half-ensuite. The couple was awesome, they went above and beyond when I had some car trouble. The kids are a treat. Husky is incredibly cuddly and Chester is adorable.
It was a pleasure staying at Steve’s house. It’s nestled into a beautiful hillside, with big windows to take in the scenery. His cat, Francois, is very friendly + playful. We had a great time together.
