Our petsitter of 15 years recently retired and we were faced with the daunting task of finding a new one. As you can imagine, finding someone new that you trust to care for your "furry and feathered friends" is pretty tough. We read the reviews, had Lauralee over for a Meet and Greet and decided she would be a great fit. She was prompt, a great communicator, well organized in our introductory meeting, during her visits and during her follow-ups. She provided a detailed recap of how the days went and really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable being out of town. (She even cleared up some downed limbs in our yard from the recent storm and got introduced to the eat, chase/race and barf routine of our cats - sorry about that!) Highly recommend!

Lauralee was great. We had a meet and greet at our house where she asked all the right questions. The dogs loved her immediately. While we were gone she texted us updates and even sent pictures of our fur babies. It was so nice knowing they were being cared for we while we were away and getting playtime in the yard with her every day. We opted for 2 visits a day and she showed up each time as expected. We will definitely be calling her each time we leave the house for more than a day. Thanks Lauralee for giving us peace of mind.

Lauralee is absolutely wonderful. She stayed over night for 2 nights and 3 days. This is the first time we have ever left our big boy with a sitter. She gave us updates during her visits and a wonderful report at the end of her 3 day stay. Opie took very well to her and even slept on the bed with her. Piece of mind during travel secured with the help of Lauralee and K9 Playtime Pet Sitting. We had daily reports and sweet pics to let us know how our pups were doing while we were on travel. In addition, there we things that came up we had not anticipated which were addressed by Lauralee - above and beyond what we had hired her for. Will hire her again.

Lauralee looked after our pets for two weeks and did a wonderful job. She is kind, dependable and followed all my care instructions. The regular updates and photos were much appreciated. When I travel, it’s important to me that my dogs get the same level of exercise, outdoor time and care as they do when we are home. Lauralee took our two dogs for multiple daily hour long walks on their favorite trail - she is clearly very good with them. We came home to happy, healthy pups (and cat). She shared pictures as well!

The love and care that our dogs are given is priceless. They offer several different scheduling options so we can rest assure our dogs are visited at the times we need Away Home. After each visit we receive photos and very detailed updates about each pet and our home. We love Robert and his team and highly recommend them and so would Stella, Otis and Bertha!!!

I love Away Home & Pet Care! I've used them multiple times and every time they have been exceptional. Each day they give me updates on how my kitty is doing with pictures and a message. Me and my family find them to be heart-warming, comforting and sometimes funny. My kitty is very scared of most other people, and she has warmed up to Robert, even letting him give her belly rubs while purring. It's nice to know that she has somebody that is so kind to give her some loving attention and provide for her needs while I'm away.

Robert and Aspenn provide incredible service and care towards my dog. My dog can be reactive and high energy. Robert and Aspenn are always patient, calm and gentle with Rocco. Rocco fell in love with both of them from the start and is always eager to see them. Robert’s high-touch service and communication are superior. He messages back in a timely manner and is very accommodating. Most importantly, I always know Rocco is in the best care and getting the needed walks/pee breaks when I’m at work. I trust them very much!

I brought my dogs to Utah this past February. Away Home Pet Care walked them for me. Not only did they take good care of my dogs, they were very easy to work with. I love the app they use. It was easy to schedule and pay and I loved the report I got after the walks were complete. I highly recommend Robert and his team!

I would give Away Home & Pet Care of Utah 10 stars if I could. Robert is phenomenal! He took care of my two cats like they were his own when I had to travel on business. My kitties were treated with care, love and respect with visits twice a day, everyday to be fed and to get their head rubs in. We also had Away Home come by to check on our home during the winter. Robert checked on the house weekly and sent pictures of the interior giving us peace of mind that all was well during the six months we were gone. So impressed with the services this company provides. A BIG thumbs up!

With each visit they provided me with a photograph and a detailed update of my pets behavior and overall health so I could have peace of mind while away. Each person I've worked with was responsive to my questions and addressed anything I needed. On top of looking after your pet they also keep an eye on your home during the visit for anything abnormal. The owner Robert is excellent to work with.

Leaving our pets is the hardest part about traveling and knowing they are safe and well cared for in Robert’s care means the world to us. We’ve had senior pets with complex needs and now busy young high energy dogs- Robert handles all of their care with ease. I’m a veterinarian so I’m pretty selective about who cares for my pets and I highly recommend this service. We’ve used both their pet sitting and dog walking services. I LOVE the updates and photos when we are out of town. Every thing is thought of and well executed. Wow! We've never used a pet sitter before and were a little nervous trusting our cat to a stranger but also knew we didn't want to board her since she hates it. We spent our time researching options in the Ogden area and were drawn to the reviews and professional looking website for Away Home & Pet Care and decided to book with them. Great choice! The meet and greet went smoothly and we immediately felt at ease with Robert and knew our cat would be in good hands. During our trip we got daily updates (including pictures) and it really let us relax and enjoy our trip knowing everything was well at home. Our cat is not the most social and we really appreciated Robert letting her go at her own pace. The app worked great even overseas and scheduling was a breeze. Will absolutely use them again for future trips!

I highly recommend using Heidi’s boarding services. I have a very nervous Catahoula that had never been boarded before. Heidi took such great care of her and was patient while she adjusted to her new environment. I received text updates and pictures to ease the stress about my fur baby. I will definitely use her services again in the future! 🐾

I was shocked at how amazing this place is priced and how dog friendly they actually really are! They have great and reasonable prices for my husky and they did an AMAZING job with him. He had a bath, ferminator brush out, nails and teeth done. They did GREAT!! The staff is VERY friendly and great with my dog and I. Their set up is super cute! They have dog couches and other cute decor specific to the comfort of your pet. My dog came out super happy and seemed to like the place when he was done! I watched his demeanor to see if he was happy and treated right and he seemed very happy coming out. Great job and thank you!

I have had the opportunity to use them every other month over the last few years. They always work hard to schedule my big dogs for baths and trims so it works well for me. Andy is amazing! They were careful with our 13 year old overweight black lab and she was always glad to go with Andy. I appreciate the great and affordable services they offer! Thanks!

These guys are amazing! They took our dog last minute when our other plans fell thru. They took such good care of our dog. We will be going here again!

If you have a disabled person who works for this place, please do not bring your pets are in. Do not let your kids work there. They just fired me over something stupid that was not my fault. They have really bad communication with people.

I was not satisfied with the service that I received. My dog was not treated very well. She had diarrhea for two days afterwards. Her paws were not clipped well, so I had to trim her feet when I got home. They cut her in several places. And I had specifically asked them to be kind to her because she was old and overweight! I don’t believe they got a bath either. However, my other dog was clipped somewhat satisfactory. I will not return to that business CH.

We've brought two of our dogs here and have nothing but good things to say. They were super gentle with our elderly dog before he passed and their prices are incredibly reasonable.

I have now taken my two dogs here multiple times for boarding. It is so nice that they have a section for dogs who do not want go be in daycare with others. They have great pricing and my dogs always drag me to go inside. I have worked in animal welfare for over a decade and you can always tell when a dog is uncomfortable so I feel more relaxed that my dogs get excited! My aussie is OBSESSED with Andy. She is fully prepared to abandon me when she seems him!! The only note is that it seems a bit unorganized. I have lost a few items between the boarding such as a leash and toys. My dogs have plenty of stuff so it's not a bother to me. Just a note to label everything and don't bring too many things!

Pet Pals Place takes great care of our pup at daycare! We know they care about the animals in their care. Our pup is in good hands when he is there.
