This was probably the best sit we have had so far—and it was their first time hosting! We felt very prepared and accommodated by Carolyn and Adrian. They were very communicative and easygoing, and have the best house, location and pets. Their house has everything you need and felt like home right away. The rolling hills of farmland were beautiful and a nice reset during a busy vacation. And the pets! Lily is a beautiful and perfectly well-behaved dog, so excited to see you when you wake up in the morning or come back from an outing. She loves playing fetch out in the fields nearby, and watching her wait to cuddle with you on the couch is the cutest thing. The cats were also beautiful, but kept to themselves more which was totally fine :) we miss them all already! This sit would be good for all types of sitters, new or longtime, we highly recommend it!
Chris is the perfect host and Lola is an even perfecter dog! Met up with Chris the day before the sit to go over Lola's routine etc and also about the house facilities too. He'd also put together an information pack with details about the house, Lola & the surrounding areas, plus a much appreciated few foodstuffs too, like mince pies, which were greatly appreciated! Chris was also always available during the sit too. As for Lola, she is amazing. All she wants is to cuddle on the sofa or her treats - just a delight to be around. Would definitely recommend as a housesit and would be happy to housesit here again in the future too. Andrew
Louie was a joy to sit for! Such an adorable tuxedo cat and loves to play 😊 we would love to come back and sit him again in the future. He takes a bit to warm up to you, but once he does he’s very sweet! Maryann was also excellent throughout the whole process with everything and the surrounding area is a very calm & relaxing part of Portland.
Tofie was a friendly and a sweet cat. Was always following me in the house wherever i go and always lying next to me when i was at home :) she wasnt so cuddle but extremly social snd cute 😊 And Johanna was very kind and also friendly. And last of all, Johannas neigbour Käthie was always there whenever i need help or want to know etwas about house ve Hamburg. Thank u very much for this amazing Hamburg holiday guys. 😊 Best regards
Alan and Colleen were the most wonderful people to sit for! Their fur babies Roxie and Mavis were a total delight to care for. Roxie is gorgeous, friendly, great to walk, and well behaved out at cafes and restaurants. Mavis is a queen, totally cuddly and chill. She loved to come in for cuddles in the morning. I already miss both of them! Colleen and Alan were fantastic to communicate with and their home is super comfortable in a great area. I felt very safe as a solo traveller. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Carol and Teddy made this an excellent experience! Carol was super kind and sweet. We felt very safe and warm around her. Teddy is a tiny, energetic, playful and beautiful doggy. So easy to take care of. The house is very cozy and has everything you need for a sitting. No doubt we would love to come back to Carol,s and Teddy’s place ♥️
