Ruth and Huw made us feel welcome in their home. Stan is a lovely dog full of character. The walks with him were very scenic and he was very well behaved.
Beverly and Chris were wonderful and very welcoming. The home was beautiful and clean with a nice backyard. Hector is a little sweetheart and loves his walks and treats. He is one to follow you wherever you go. The bus stop is not far and will take you to Appledore which I recommend as well as other towns to explore. Barnstaple also has a nice village to walk around.
We absolutely loved our stay with Milo. The home was really comfortable with a beautiful garden space, and incredible park nearby with a river and trails to explore. Milo was such a fun and sweet boy to be with. We absolutely loved each moment and will miss him dearly. Aideen and Mike were incredibly warm and welcoming. We would love to come back again some day.
I can't say enough good things about this housesit. People, dogs, house, all superlative. Sharon and Jay are such generous, warm and interesting people. They couldn't have done more to welcome me and make sure I was comfortable - from a welcome basket to a bedroom that would be at home in a five star hotel. They left detailed notes about anything I could possibly need. They ensured the garden and house and car they left me, were all shipshape before they left. Shelves were made available for me in the fridge and the kitchen cupboards. Sharon took me around Lymington to the strawberry farm and the bakery amongst others, and left lots of pamphlets about attractions in the area. As others have said, Teddy and Flossie are just lovely dogs. Very affectionate, great company, and easy to deal with. They are such great company. You have to watch Flossie when a new dog approaches her, but she is pretty willing to listen and respond to what you say. Sharon has worked hard on their training and it shows. I miss them already. The house is gorgeous. It has every amenity one could possibly imagine from a pizza oven, barbecue and wood burner outside, to a super well equipped kitchen inside. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to stay here, but mostly to get to know Teddy and Flossie and their humans.
Our stay with Lily and Teddy in Tamarac was relaxed and low-key. These sweet pups were affectionate, well-behaved, and very easy to care for. The residence was located in a quiet, peaceful, easy-going neighborhood. The environs were exquisitely clean and comfortable. Everything was found as described. During the entirety of our sit, our hosts, Ruth and Adam, kept in great contact with us. Their instructions and requests were always straight-forward and easy to follow. Adam and Ruth were thoughtful, gracious hosts, and we enjoyed meeting them both. We would be more than happy to house-sit again for Adam and Ruth, and care for Lily and Teddy. Our time spent in this south Florida home was an absolute joy.
This was a truly great experience and would recommend to anyone! Bertie and Walter are incredibly gentle, well trained, and adorable which made the entire experience relaxing and fun. Anyone who enjoys being outside will appreciate the peaceful scenery when taking the two of them out for their strolls! Hilary and Duncan were great hosts and I felt welcome! I had some issues with my vehicle arriving and they made me feel right at home.

Carrie was amazing! She took time to educate me on things that would be helpful for my particular breed of dog. She got him groomed so quickly. What usually takes me all day, she got done in an hour and he looks fantastic. Will for sure be using woofie’s again!

Our experience with Woofie's was top notch! Carrie took plenty of time to make sure our pup was comfortable and she did an incredible job! The cut looked great and grew out cleanly (no odd fluffs, which seems to happen quite often with our Bernedoodle). Our pup seemed so much more relaxed than when we have taken him to a typical groomer; probably because there was not other dogs and other groomers making "scary noises". This was a great experience for him, which made it great for me also! I'm scheduling appointment #2 and will be a customer for a long time to come! I'll add more pics after the next groom

Our pup Bash has stayed multiple times at Bark City now, and we’ve had nothing but great experiences! Great customer service, and great communication! We love all of the add on services and take advantage of getting the daily pup-dates and daily walks! They always make us feel like they love having him stay there, which is such a relief when boarding your dog! Highly recommend.
My puppy Moe enjoyed his 2 week stay at bark city lodge. They were amazing with him and provided updates while we were on vacation. I will definitely be rebooking with them in the future.
WE LOVE BARK CITY. Stark, our 3 year old German Shepherd, has had long stays (1 week or more) twice now. August 2023 and the first week of MAY 2024. When Stark first came to Bark City we were still administering her medications for a skin infection. Bark City gave her all of the meds required and followed the instructions I had written out and supplied with her food. It was comforting to know that the staff was very thorough and competent in helping her heal and feel better. Bark City also does an excellent job keeping us updated on Stark. We receive photo and video updates and she always looks so relaxed and happy. On her latest visit, she got to play outside with the hose on a hot day. It definitely made us feel less guilty for being on vacation because it seemed she was on one as well. We will continue to use Bark City for our grooming and boarding needs. We do not trust her with anyone else.
1. We explicitly instructed a medication be given to one of our dogs, even putting it in a separate bag with the date and time it needed administered. It was still in the bag when we picked them up. 2. One of our dogs has laryngeal paralysis and needs a slow-feeder bowl, which we provided, or she could choke to death. When we picked them up, they could not confirm the bowl was always used. 3. The last two times we've picked up the dogs, they've had feces on them and didn't bother to clean it before we picked them up. When we saw it, again, we had to ask if it can be cleaned. Even still, we ended cleaning it up. 4. It's very disorganized. When we called to change dates for pick-up, they confirmed it; however, they called us on the original date asking if we were going to pick them up. 5. After picking them up, we noticed one of the dogs' tail tip was bleeding and was not addressed. All this said, we fear for our dogs' well-being at this business. Service and quality have seriously degraded lately. UPDATE: We received a call from Bark City management. They seemed genuinely concerned and are taking steps to remedy the issues. Thank you for personally addressing this.
If you are looking for a place to trust with your dog, this is it! The staff absolutely showed their expertise in handling our high energy labradoodle. He’s a big goofball and obviously had a great time while we were away! We will definitely visit this business on the regular.

Every time I visit, I feel confident that my furry kids are in the best hands. The team is super friendly and always goes above and beyond. Whether you're looking for a trustworthy place to leave your pets while you're away or just need top-notch care for your dogs, Bark City is the place to go. I especially appreciate how patient and understanding they are with my anxious, reactive dog. It’s the only boarding facility where we feel safe and comfortable leaving him. We were nervous to board our pup for the first time because he is not the most friendly. The staff was great and our dog warmed up to them by the end of his stay. Bark City Lodge did an awesome job! We will definitely use them again!
We have boarded our dog here several times now and love it. Memphis enjoys his stays and is well taken care of while he’s there. We love that he can have a bath and come home fluffy and smelling good! The staff is great and work with too!
Our dogs have stayed at bark city lodge three times now, and most recently it was so we could welcome a new baby to the family. When we picked up the dogs they had given them a bath and made them look so cute to meet their new baby brother! We are so happy we found them and will continue to use them in the future!
