There could not be better house and pet sitters than Sharon, David and Imogen. From the first time I spoke to them on facetime and their reassuring messages I knew they were the right people to look after our precious pup, Pepper. Having their own border collie also helped with the decision as these dogs are so lively and need plenty exercise. We returned to a beautifully clean and tidy house and garden, and most importantly a very happy Pepper. We met David before the sit which helped enormously. They are the loveliest people and sent daily updates including photos and videos of Pepper’s outings. They obviously love dogs and I would not hesitate to invite them to stay again, and would in fact try and organise our holidays around their visits to the UK! This site not only found us house/pet sitters, but new friends.

We cannot recommend Kyleigh and Emilee more highly. From the moment we met them, their deep love for animals was evident. They treated our menagerie with such care and affection, as if they were their own beloved pets. Their flexibility was impressive, accommodating our schedule with ease and demonstrating a remarkable understanding of pet care. When our dog Stella developed a limp—after enthusiastically behaving as though she were years younger than her age—Kyleigh and Emilee kept us thoroughly informed. They not only updated us regularly but also provided thoughtful suggestions based on their own experiences, which was incredibly reassuring. Communication with Kyleigh and Emilee was a standout feature of their service. Despite us being in the UK and facing a 7-hour time difference, they made sure to keep us connected through videos with detailed commentary on each pet. Their proactive approach included creating a group chat for seamless communication and sending us a video showing how they had left our home, including their thoughtful touch of cleaning up our front yard and weeding. This level of transparency and care made us feel completely at ease, even from afar. This was our first experience using the Trusted House-Sitters platform, and if you’re fortunate enough to have Kyleigh and Emilee look after your home and pets, you’re truly in for a special experience. We cannot rate them highly enough and would not hesitate to use their services again in a heartbeat.

Vivian and Arno were fantastic! From the first contact we were sure they would be excellent. They went out of their way to take interest in our pets and our home including the garden watering which was especially important in this very hot weather here in Perth. Anyone who gets these guys are very lucky!

Ffion and Cullum took great care of our 2 dogs. One of our dogs is a senior lady, requiring medication, so was great to have peace of mind that they were in good hands. The house was well looked after, lovely and clean on our return.

Kelsie & Aaron

Kelsie and Aaron were excellent housesitters. They looked after our house and German Shepherd for 5 days. Kelsie was super organised and we had a phone conversation several weeks prior about what the house sit would entail. Kelsie and Aaron were happy to come over and meet Gemma prior to the housesit if that would help put Gemma at ease. Even though we didn’t end up needing to do that, I really appreciated that they were willing to do so. When we were away, Kelsie kept us updated with regular reports of how Gemma was doing, the weather (as a cyclone was predicted) and any issues about the house. I really appreciated the updates as I tend to be a worry wart at times! When we arrived home, we were so touched to see a beautiful card and framed photos of Gemma on our kitchen bench. The house had been tidied, vacuumed and mopped, and the laundry had been done. Kelsie and Aaron had even pulled out all the old weeds in our veggie patches which we had said we needed to do when we got back. We were so thrilled with the state of our house when we returned. We were also very happy with how Gemma was looked after - she was walked, played with, and all the instructions relating to Gemma were followed. I would highly recommend Kelsie and Aaron to housesit your home and pets - they are warm, friendly, reliable, obviously great with animals, and will treat your home and pets with the love, respect and care that you would hope for in a Housesitter. Chris and Kate are fabulous! they arrived with waterproof clothing - very sensible given the Lake District weather, but luckily for them, they had the full 10 days of a heatwave, some days even hotter than us abroad! :)
What a lovely couple they are, very sweet, kind, gentle and thorough, taking on board all the many things that needed doing. They looked after all the beasties, fish, wild birds, plants and house perfectly and Jeff the Staffy was most glum for a few days after they left.
Communication was excellent and much appreciated were all the daily pics of exciting places they took him.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend more than highly (and hope they come back sometime :))

Wiebke and her friend Mo were the perfect cat sitters. They looked after our two cats for 5 days. When we came back we found 2 very happy and relaxed tomcats.
Mooni only eats when he feels comfortable and trusts the person giving him food. He ate very well (with video proof :-).
Our numerous plants were well looked after and the apartment was probably even cleaner when we left it. The mini shrimps also survived well.
We had regular contact with Wiebke and often got photos of the cats, so we were able to enjoy our vacation in a relaxed manner.
Wiebke and Mo are very pleasant people to whom we were able to entrust our home straight away without any hesitation. We would be happy to welcome Wiebke and Mo back as sitters at any time.

Wiebke und ihr Freund Mo waren die perfekten Katzensitter. Sie haben 5 Tage auf unsere beiden Kater aufgepasst. Als wir wieder kamen haben wir 2 sehr zufriedene und entspannte Kater angetroffen.
Mooni frisst nur wenn er sich wohlfühlt und Vertrauen zu der Person die ihm Futter gibt hat. Er hat sehr gut gefressen (mit Videobeweis :-).
Unsere zahlreichen Pflanzen waren super versorgt und die Wohnung wahrscheinlich noch sauberer als wir sie verlassen haben. Auch die Minigarnelen haben gut überlebt.
Wir hatten regelmäßigen Kontag zu Wiebke und haben oft Fotos der Kater bekommen, so konnten wir ganz entspannt den Urlaub genießen.
Wiebke und Mo sind sehr angenehme Menschen denen wir auf Anhieb ohne Bedenken unser Heim anvertrauen konnten. Wir würden Wiebke und Mo jederzeit sehr gerne wieder als Sitter bei uns wilkommen heißen.
