We (including Zibibbo) were so happy about Dana and Victoria first sitting that we did not have any doubt about having them looking after Zibibbo for almost a month. As mentioned in the previous email, they were sensitive to Zibi's needs, they sent us constant updates throughout the month understanding very well that the photos of Zibi that we received every morning made us extremely happy. They took care of the house and left it spotless. I am so sad to see Dana and Victoria leave Copenhagen because they are genuine, generous, and fun to talk to. I wish them the best and cannot recommend them enough for future sittings!
We were so lucky to have Ashna and Dwayne with our cats for 6 weeks. The apartment was pristine when we got back (a relief after a long travel day). The plants thrived. Ashna sent pics of the cats around twice a week. One of them is normally pretty shy, so we were pleasantly surprised when 2 days after arrival we got photos of her getting pets and sitting in laps -- very rare! (I'm convinced Ashna and Dwayne are thus cat whisperers.) They kept us informed of important mail and checked in when they needed anything via Whatsapp. They were very chill about our handoff even though we ended up having to get a neighbor to let them into the house and show them around. They even stayed an extra week when we asked so that we could extend our time in Mexico City. They're awesome, attentive, sweet folks. I wish we could've met them in real life, but I would choose them again as sitters in a heartbeat!
Steve was a wonderful house sitter for our three week vacation. Steve took great care of our two dogs, one of which is very old and requires a lot of special care. She was in better shape when we returned than when we left! He bathed, her, carried her to the backyard to pee and walked her down the block and back. He made her chicken and rice for meals because her stomach was upset. Steve became a constant companion to our other dog and took her for long walks every day. He sent us pictures daily and we were confident and secure in the knowledge that our dogs were being well cared for. Steve left our house in immaculate condition. He changed the bedding on the bed and washed all of the towels. The house was cleaner than when we left! I highly recommend Steve and only wish he was available for our upcoming vacations.
