Danielle was very responsible and communicative.

She clearly adores animals!

Laidback, lazy Indy was a joy to look after. He’s sociable enough to be good company, independent enough not to be needy, and despite being a big dog unusually easy to walk — he never pulls and he doesn’t react. He’s exactly the type of dog that makes house sitting worthwhile.

We had the fun and pleasure to sit Dijn (a Siamese senior gentleman) and Chango (the new Devon Rex rescue). They had only been room mates for about six weeks when we were taking care of them, but they were already well adjusted to each others presence and would occasionally even snuggle close together. They're both very friendly, affectionate and clearly love the company. They would often follow us around, watch what we're doing (Chango especially liked to see what we were cooking) and would sometimes tap our legs for attention. Dijn will hop on any empty lap that presents itself, but Chango prefers to sit next to a warm body. During the night they would also always sleep with us. Chango still likes to play and is faster than his current size would suggest (he is a recent rescue and is now slimming down). Susanne made us feel very welcome at her modern and cozy home and was super-helpful with tips for the surrounding area. Most of the time we were working from home, but we also had many strolls around the lake, to the city center and we had a trip to Sion. It was our pleasure to care for these grumpy but loving aging furr balls in Lausanne and we would definitely do this sit again if the opportunity should arise. :)

Laur
I had a great week with the Marvelous Mr. Mishu! I wasn’t able to explore the neighborhood as much as I would have liked to, but I really enjoyed studying and hanging out with Laur’s cuddly cat in her creative and inspiring home.

The home, stocked with everything that you might need, is more spacious than the photos let on. Each room is sun-filled, inviting and big enough for Mish to get his zoomies in (a feeling that seems to unexpectedly wash over him).

The little catdog, as I call him, spends most of his waking day, in his favorite spot, watching the birds and squirrels eat, playing with toys, cuddling and minding mealtime. Mish’s low-maintenance, highly-entertaining disposition and Laur’s clear communication made taking care of Mishu and the apartment a breeze!

Vasavi
Vasavi and Marco are super kind and thoughtful, and they obviously cared that I was welcome and had a lovely stay. I felt like a valued guest and friend. They are dedicated pet parents! I loved spending time with Truffle at their lovely spacious house, set in peaceful natural surroundings. It was great to walk Truffle on the property and enjoy the flowers, birds, rabbits, and white tailed deer. Truffle is very sweet, and well loved by his pet parents, friends, and family. Vasavi and Marco were always quick to respond to any questions while traveling, and went out of their way to make me comfortable -- with food and a beautiful welcome basket, a ride to and from the airport, and more. The pool and yard were great for spending time and there were so many good spots inside and out to practice my yoga and meditation. I enjoyed going in to Austin for yoga and meditation as well, and little quaint historic Bastrop was close by for a bookstore, pizza, some nice restaurants and shopping, and local tiny history museums.

Elizabeth
This was a great sit. Even though I didn't get the chance to meet Elizabeth in person, as she was away, we communicated very well over messages, and she and her friend made me feel welcome at her beautiful apartment, which had all the amenities and comfort necessary.
Blue is a lovely rabbit girl. She is quite shy at first, but warmed up to me over the period of the sit, and was happy to receive some cuddles towards the end.
This was an easy and pleasant sit, and I was able to enjoy Blue's company and Sevilla. Recommend this to anyone wanting to visit Sevilla while looking after lovely rabbit.
