Stephen and Jo were very friendly and welcoming when I visited a few days in advance of the sit. Amber and Anni are delightful dogs, and so well behaved, very easy to care for. They have a good routine and everything is well organised. The house is lovely and so peaceful in the midst of the forest. I had a lovely second sit there and would be delighted to go back. Highly recommended.
What a pleasure to look after this lovely cat Fergus in such wonderful surroundings. Howard and Madeleine welcomed us into their Georgian home with its AGA in the kitchen and a really good sized wood burner in the living room which kept us cosy for all of our sit. Provisions to get us started were also in place, the treacle tart from a local bakery didn’t last long ! Fergie entertained us with his escapades running around through the many rooms and absolutely loved a cuddle on a spare lap in the evening. There were walks nearby straight from the house and we also visited Haugh Woods, a 5 minute drive, where there are lots of tracks for walking and cycling and it also has a butterfly trail. A couple of local shops but you’re only 3 miles from Hereford city, and there are two pubs very close by. All in all a highly recommended sit with a wonderful pet and very thoughtful owners...thank you
Thomas and I spent 3 months housesitting for Rosie and PJ in their lovely home. Ken and Judith were extremely welcoming and even picked us up and drove us back to the airport. They came home one day early so we got to spend some time getting to know them and we now have become friends. Rosie and PJ have very different personalities but are very easy to care for. PJ is very chill and could care less about her food. Rosie on the other hand is a bit manic and is always looking to eat including PJ's food or if you've left something on the counter, it is not safe! Their home is very comfortable and the property is private and beautiful. If you like birds you be able to watch them all day long out of the big beautiful windows. Ken and Judith were very communicative and left clear and detailed instructions on how to make our transition easy and keep the cats happy. We would highly recommend this sit!
We had a great time looking after Mango, Max and Marli and staying in Natasha and Greg's lovely home. They were super easy to look after and great company. Max would always walk alongside us, and Marli loved chasing a ball back and forth. Mango, the cat, would come and find us to say hello and have a stroke, however, spent most of the time outside. The house is in a lovely rural setting, with the woods straight out of the back gate. Our young adults enjoyed it so much, they decided not to go home for NYE and stay with us, which was the first time in years we had shared it together. We would definitely return if needed.
This was a wonderful sit! Saying Kiawah is beautiful doesn't do it enough justice. Tracey is very kind and did a great job communicating with us. Arrival instructions were spot on and that is always appreciated. We had the pleasure to cross paths before she left town so we got the inside scoop on Ashee! This was good, since Ashee is a very special kitty... You must earn her trust and not force the friendship. Once you do though, she is so sweet and LOVES BELLY RUBS! That's such a treat for us cat lovers. Lot's of personality from Ashee and basic food, water, pet, repeat formula for care. Meggan and I would love to sit for Tracey again highly recommend her as a host.
Highly recommend sitting for Faryal and Katniss! Faryal is very kind and communicative. Her home is clean and spacious and in a great area. Katniss is a good cat, easy to care for, and enjoys her routines.
