River, Mochi, Nicole and Chris are the cutest family and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet them and stay in their home while visiting Honolulu for my first time. Nicole and Chris went above and beyond to make me feel at home and welcome in Hawaii. They are so generous, hospitable, and kind! River is a 50lb friendly, gentle, loving, and sweet giant who absolutely loves to run free on the beach. It was so nice to take her to her favourite beach for sunset walks as often as I could. At home she is really calm, and very easy to manage! River loves her cuddles and she's the goodest girl. No cat has ever made me laugh as much as brave little Mochi. He is too cute, and is also the most food motivated cat I’ve ever met. I just love him. He's incredibly affectionate and will greet you with the loudest meows upon arriving home. Nicole and Chris have really hit the jackpot with these fur babies, my heart almost bursts just thinking about them. I am so thankful for the time I spent in their lovely riverside home in Honolulu and I look forward to hosting them in Canada one day too! Thank you for everything Nicole & Chris!!
We had a wonderful time in Santa Fe at Doug & Bobbi’s place. Omi was easy to care for and a great work from home companion. He kept us laughing! Doug & Bobbi were very generous sharing their home, museum passes, and taking us out to a wonderful dinner before they took off. We would sit for them again!
Steve & Kate welcomed us very warmly into their cosy Worthing home where we took care of the delightful Millie, Clarence & Meg! Millie is a very sweet little dog. She is intelligent, interactive and a great companion. She loves her cuddles and her daily walks where she likes to chase her ball. Clarence & Meg are both beautiful and interactive cats and it was a pleasure to hang out with all three! Steve & Kate are a lovely, friendly couple and communication was great at all times. We highly recommend this sit! 😊
This was one of my favorite sits. Annette and Erik were so kind and welcoming, doing everything to make sure I was comfortable. The house is super comfy and immaculately decorated in a nice neighborhood. It is within walking distance of parks, coffee shops, cafes, and grocery stores. But the highlight of the sit was Juniper. She is such a sweet and intelligent dog. I will jump at the opportunity to sit Juniper again.
I had a lovely sit here, it was a bit last minute but as it wasn't far from my home I could do the sit and continue with my normal things! Kira is a sweet cat, please do not be out off by all her medications, Glenda has it all worked out with photos to guide you and Kira almost waits for her regular meds/treats! 😻

Our fur baby, Buzz stayed for five days at this location. He suffers severe separation anxiety from his previous owners and we were scared that he would have a bad experience being away from us. Claws and Paws took amazing care of him. They administered his medication to help him through his stay and allowed us to be worry free during our vacation. He’s due to come back in a month and hopefully he will be in better spirits while we are away. I trust them fully with our fur baby.
Needed a place to keep our dog for a long weekend ( 9-17-21 through 9-20-21 ). Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. The facility was clean looking and clean smelling. The grounds look well kept and maintained Our pet looked to be well cared for when we picked him up. Reasonably priced for the service. A good experience and would use them again should the need arise.
Sad to write this review as I have posted nothing but 5 stars for this kennel previously. Picked up my 11 year old dog on 7/10/22 and her legs and belly were covered in urine. She also was bitten while at the kennel which I know can happen and they cared for her however it was completely unacceptable to find her covered in urine. They offered a bath however we needed to get our son to an event but needless to say after over 5 years at this kennel we will not be back. I have recommended the kennel repeatedly over the years and now need to back track due to this. Again- not the fact she was bitten as she was cared for regarding that incident, rather that she was covered in urine at any time I find unacceptable. As of this review still waiting on the owner or a manager to contact me. Also, upon check out I was advised of the cost which was almost 80.00 higher than 2 weeks prior and for the same length of visit/time of arrival/time of pick-up. They corrected a portion of it however was still higher than previous visit. The pricing I am sure is competitive with other kennels in the area but now I will be finding that out as I will need to look for another option. This was such a great location with the vet being next door but needless to say the cleanliness of my dog and safety outweighs the proximity to the vet.
I bring my dog here all the time and she's always excited to go in! The staff are also super friendly and helpful, and they all seem to love my dog as well.
I came in not as a dog owner.. but with chest pains because I couldn't make it to the hospital... The lead doctor immediately told me to relax and he started an IV in me and 4 hours later I woke up from a triple bypass by the most wonderful vet clinic in the world.... This is 100% true and the best part is he told me not to worry about the bill because it was gonna be over $400. But I gave him $75 and thanked him for saving my life . I love you all
I was very scared to leave my bunny at claws & paws, as we’d never tried a boarding facility before. The staff was so reassuring and transparent about everything before, during, and after the stay. If we are ever in need of a boarding facility again, we will definitely be booking with Claws & Paws. Amazing people and clean environment. 10/10 experience xoxo.

The staff was responsive to the needs of my pets. They communicated with me during the stay. My pets stayed for longer than I have ever boarded my pets. My dog came home happy and healthy. She seemed very well cared for.

And our dog Molly just absolutely loves her! Did I mention the pictures? They always the highlight of my day!

I have been thrilled with the services of Camp Wagging Tails as my dogs have loved their weekly visits at CWT, for 20 years. All 3 pugs, over those years, have exhibited great excitement upon seeing Bailey Road. I first toured this place prior to boarding my dog for Thanksgiving. A few things I was not crazy about- you can’t actually go outside to see the play areas. I saw one room with the crates. I left him for half day camp- they said he was mounting a lot and they would watch that in the future (he is a neutered 6 yr old male). I ended up not boarding him for Thanksgiving due to travel changes. I then had him go for grooming and a half day of day camp; again, feedback was he was ‘mounting other dogs’ but no other info given. He stayed the next two nights. I asked about getting pictures, they have not ‘figured this out yet’. I said to let me know how things were as he has never been boarded here before. I got a text at the end of day two that he had a great time and was doing great. Then two hours later that he had been put out of playtime due to mounting. When I picked him up I asked for details; not aggressive they said, just mounting so basically I guess they cannot control that. I saw cameras of the play yards, which I liked, but employees just standing around in a clump. Just felt impersonable; not a lot of feedback, did not get to see where he stayed the night. Won’t be back.
Camp Wagging tails is fantastic! My dog attends daycare twice a week! They also have a fantastic trainer (Scott) on staff! Scott is extremely helpful and patient! He helps train the owner and the dog! I highly recommend Scott and camp wagging tails.
Our pups have been going to day camp at Camp Wagging Tails for about two years now and the team has been awesome! It’s clear they genuinely care —Jessica, Kylee, Amanda, Mallory— thank you! We also recently started having the pups groomed there which is convenient so we don’t have to schedule separately over the weekend.
CWT has been a great place for my anxious pup to call a second home. They take such good individualized care of each dog and as an anxious dog mom, the cameras are great. Their trainer, Scott, is the absolute best and goes above and beyond to help owners better understand the needs of the dogs. Very grateful for this place!
Camp Wagging Tails was a wonderful place to work. The staff are amazing and I knew I could trust everyone with my own dog when she came to work with me.The groomer on staff, Kylee, was someone I could trust to make sure my girl was taken care of and she always came out looking great! I can’t say enough good things about the front desk staff. Those ladies are amazing at what they do and it was a privilege to work along side them. I truly can not recommend CWT enough as a whole. You can bring your dog there and know that they are getting the best care!
We have used Camp Wagging Tales a few times for daycare as well as boarding for our 1 year old Great Dane. Each time she’s returned home we have had to take a trip to the vet within the week for varying issues. The first time she came home with a broken toe that took weeks to heal. The second time we had to treat a skin condition that took two rounds of antibiotics. The third resulted in an inpatient hospitalization for influenza. I highly suggest folks take a close look before booking this facility. The activities and interaction with other pups is great however the actual care and cleanliness seems to leave a lot to be desired.
Camp Wagging Tails is the best doggy day and boarding facility, led by the most caring staff. Amanda and her team give me great confidence that my dog is in great hands, whether it’s for a fun play day or boarding when I travel. My dog, Wilbur, can’t wait to get there, and he runs right back to play with his friends with a big smile on his face. That’s all I need to know about his review!! Five paws!!

Great place for your dog to run free and really nice staff. I like how you can watch your dogs in the camera in the website too. Also I asked one of the employees and they said that if you check all buttons of the camera on the website and don’t see your dog or any dogs then they are all in a individual cube (each dog in it’s in cubical not cage) that is a good size. It is so they can just rest. Also if the weather is not the best outside then they will put all of the dogs in a bigger indoor playroom. My dog gets very nervous every time that he goes off to boarding when we go on vacation or anything else of that sort, so he will not eat. They told me that he wasn’t eating his food so they put some wet food in it and he ate it right up. My dog also has some allergy issues (considering he is always rubbing around in the grass and clay 😂) and they took perfect care of him and he came back looking like when I dropped him off. The pricing is okay, as long as my dog is happy it is worth it. I can tell that he made lots of friends and really enjoyed himself! Jax will definitely come back again! 😊
Warning! This can happen to your dog! The attached pictures show my dog’s legs 1 month after sustaining chemical burns at Pet Paradise. I left my dog here for 1 night and came back at the end of the next day, picked him up and noticed he was acting strange. After finding his back legs oozing pus and his hair in a hard bloody matte, I took him to the doctors. At one point he also vomitted some blood. 2 emergency trips to the vet over 2 days and thankfully they were able to treat him. Pet paradise never gave me an answer as to how this happened to my dog, which means they haven’t fixed the issue. If they haven’t fixed the issue then that means your dog is also in danger of suffering the same or worse fate as my golden retriever. I will note the management at pet paradise was sympathetic and paid all the vet bills for my dog which I appreciate. But I will never leave my dog here again and probably will never use another boarding facility.
The staff are all SO nice and accommodating. The lobby smells good for a place with a revolving door of pets all day long. The view behind the counter of the outside looks like a fun pet resort. The grounds are very pleasant looking. Animals don’t mind going with the staff. It’s not at all like a vet visit..lol. Also somehow my pup looks so nice when I come to pick him up. I’m pleasantly pleased!!!
I cannot say better things about this Pet Paradise location. When I lived in Florida, I found Pet Paradise and would take my dog, Scout often. When I moved to CLT, I found this location and it is GREAT. I love that you are able to add on services like baths, extra day-camp play time, ice cream treats and report cards so you can see photos of your dog throughout the day along with how he/she is doing! Some of the rooms have cameras you can pay for if you need that comfort and peace of mind. Scout always has a blast here. The staff is amazing, friendly and so great at what they do. I will continue to recommend this location and company to everyone for their fur babies! THANK YOU Pet Paradise for always going above and beyond for our family.
We adopted Poe from the animal control shelter and fell in love instantly despite how difficult it was with his behavior. The staff at pet paradise charlotte were so understanding and helpful in making sure Poe had a group to play with when he is boarded. We ended up leaving him for the 28 board and train and are SO happy we did!! We brought him home yesterday and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. We know that we have a lot of practice to do with him so that his behavior transfers into our home but he is settling is so well that we aren’t worried at all. Jenny and Krista were absolutely phenomenal and we would 10/10 recommend anyone to bring their pet here for training. They made sure he was incredibly loved and that his brain was stimulated his whole stay.

Everyone here is always so friendly from the moment I’ve walked in. They’re definitely pet people because they always greet my dog as well. He has anxiety and they are super accommodating to have the groomer come out and say hello and pet him before taking him back. And his haircuts are always on point! I would definitely recommend Pet Paradise for grooming. We haven’t used the boarding facilities.
I normally use rover because I like having my dog watched in a home and getting updates. Rover let me down though so I went with Pet Paradise and I an genuinely so happy with my choice. I paid the incredibly great value of $5 a day for a report card and the pictures I got were amazing. The people at Pet Paradise were all so nice and made me feel comfortable dropping my dog off. When I picked him up he was all happy and jumping everywhere on me and also on the worker who brought him out. He only ever jumps on people he really likes (me, my mom and sister are it). So him doing that made me know everything I needed to about the place, he bonded with the workers which means they took great care of him. I plan to use Pet Paradise for the foreseeable future and recommend it! Worth every penny.
You want to know what kind of boarding to expect here? The best. These people care so much for each and every dog that is dropped off. They take great notes and listen and follow up on any special care your pup may need during their stay. The services they offer are fairly priced and always delivered as or above what they advertise. I strongly recommend this place for stays of any length!

For Pet Sake has been taking great care of my dogs whenever I am away - have been relying on them for over 10 years. One of my dogs is diabetic and the sitters are very experienced with giving insulin shots so it is great peace of mind. Love that they text me to give updates and also text to make sure that I made it home from each trip. It is great to be able to leave the dogs in the house and know that they are in great hands!

The compassionate care that my dogs have received and continue to receive on a weekly basis is bar none, the best in Charlotte. Over the years, our pet sitter, Amy, has had to adjust to the different personalities, as well as the varying life stages of our dogs. Between the tender care she has given to the senior ones, and the patience she has dolled out to wild, younger ones, she never ceases to fulfill my expectations, nor to have a bad experience with my brood. Special attention is always given to each individual dog and every visit is a great visit. I know my dogs will be well cared for and I can't ask for anything more.

I use them probably 5-10 times a year. The web site is easy to use and response time is same day to verify your booking. I'm a worry wort type of owner and I can honestly say I have complete trust in my sitter Nancy. I know she will treat my Sammy like her own and go above and beyond to keep him comfortable. This helps my stress level immensely. I can actually enjoy my time away. She even sends me pics of him which make my day. Most importantly Sammy loves his visits with Nancy. I know this because I have used other companies and even neighbors to help me in the past and I have found Sammy hiding under the bed when I get home or messes all over the house and acting strange and spooked. Never has this been the case from the first day of Nancy's visits. My experience with the company has been fantastic!!

Recently, my family was put in a position to rehome Bella, our beloved Cane Corso. Our son plays competitive, year round, travel baseball and we found ourselves having to crate Bella for extended amounts of time, way more often than was good for her. After much thought and prayer, we decided as a family that we had to do what was best for Bell. Bella is a part of our family so we were very methodical in our approach to transition her to a new home. After word of mouth from a friend, and a Facebook search, I found Double N Cane Corso & Rescue. Nicole, owner was AMAZING and very responsive. She was very informative and transparent in her process to rescue new Corsos. First she wanted my husband and I to bring Bell by her facility for a meet and greet. She was gentle, knowledgeable, and welcoming to our family. She spent time with Bella, allowed Bella to become familiar with her potential new home. After about 45 minutes of talking, getting to know Bella, we discussed the next steps in transitioning Bella to her new home. It was a very quick transition as well...approximately 1 week to coordinate the rehoming event. As this decision was extremely hard for our family, Nicole made it easier by her gentleness and collaborative approach. Since the transition, Nicole has kept in touch, sent us pictures of Bella in her new environment. That meant the world to my family and I. I can't thank Nicole and her team enough for their support with Bella. We need more kind hearted people in the world like Nicole and Double N Cane Corso & Rescue. I am forever grateful. If you are ever in a position like ours, please consult Nicole and her team. They truly are subject matter experts in their field.
Wonderful care and perfect treatment of my baby girl as always. She smelled wonderful and I was so glad to see my baby since my knee replacement on Wed. We have never been separated in our 2 years together.

We picked up a Bull mastiff we were adopting from a Bull Mastiff rescue from MA here in Charlotte at this wonderful Kennel who was doing the Rescue a favor. They were kenneling the dog until they adopted her out. Beautiful kennels. Nicole the owner, was very helpful and very professional. The kennels themselves appeared to be clean and well kept. I'm sure if you chose to board here the prices are good and it appears to be an absolutely beautiful place! A dog would be lucky for sure!
This place is awesome. Everytime we go outta town I called and book my dog and she always available. Divva loves it here as well. It'd home away from home for her. She loves been around another dogs as well.
Nicole is wonderful and so caring. We adopted our 'baby' via her rescue and we love her. She was very open and honest about our dog's temperament and what to expect. We will use her kennel should we need to in the future!
Can’t say enough good things about Nicole and Double N Kennels. I was in a pinch when I tried to foster a dog and he repeatedly tried to attack my dogs. Nicole was slammed but continuously followed up with me and worked out an immediate resolution. She boarded her ‘lil buddy George’ for almost a month until I found a suitable forever home. She loved on him, said he was perfect, sent pictures and a video and even followed up after I picked him up to see how the adoption went!! She runs a tight ship.. everything is well organized and clean. She is incredibly responsive as well and really has a heart of gold for animals in her care.
Stopped by to pick up a black and tan coonhound to be transported to his foster family. Cannot thank them enough for being a part of the rescue and fostering community. Very nice setup. Animals are well protected. Clean grounds.

Everyone who works here is amazing! After having to leave my home after the hurricane I was lucky enough to find this kennel, my 2 dogs stayed for 5 nights and were in great spirits when I picked them up. The entire staff is absolutely amazing and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend Bowzee Wowzee!
Ruined my vacation!!! Call them on Wednesday. They say all good to bring my dog on Sunday. Get there on Sunday and then say I need all these medical records. Now we can’t go and my 2 year old is so sad. This place seriously sucks
Used the groomer today for the first time based upon a recommendation and reading the reviews on the Internet. Our dog has Cushing’s disease and lots of skin tags and needs to be treated gently and carefully. We tried several groomers before experiencing the excellent care and grooming of our dog. Prior to the grooming I talked with Tracy and reviewed what needed to happen and she had several suggestions about grooming. I felt comfortable when I left and two hours later, our dog came back happy, well groomed and we are now going to be customers. The business communicates well and calls back like they say they will and/or on time as they promised.
Best place for my 2 dogs to stay. I have used them for over 10years now and they have never disappointed me. Thank you!
My family and I have brought our pets here for years. They always take such great care of our pups and create a family like environment that makes me feel like they love my baby as much as me! They remember details about my family and really make me feel at home. My dog, Jefe, is a bit anxious and they always do a great job making him feel loved.
Neesa was taken out by herself as she is a new rescue and she was happy to go home after staying 1 night.
When I dropped my dogs off I noticed several pit bulls also being dropped off. I commented that I did not want my dogs to go out with pitbulls. This is part of their service, you can request that your dogs be outside alone, which we did. When I returned to pickup my dogs the owner passed us a note from a client that overheard me (something about my insensitivity to pitbulls I imagine, I didn't even read past the first line and used it for toilet paper, another Karen wasting their time). Pits are banned from apartments and HOA's for a reason, they are proven aggressive and dangerous dogs. Don't offer the service if you're going to call out people for asking for it. How unprofessional to engage in some sort of 6th grade note passing and tattle telling. They also did not perform the pickup day grooming that we asked for. There are far better places to go and we obviously will not be back

My two Great Dane mixes, Pauly and Silas, LOVE coming here. They always try to accommodate when I need to do over night stays and the staff is super friendly. I trust my babies in their care and highly recommend them 😊!
I boarded my dog Koda here over the weekend and she had a blast!!!! She made lots of friends and seeing her so happy in the pictures made me feel loads better knowing she wasn’t sad and alone. They even gave her an exit bath when I picked her up which was such a nice surprise!!! She smelled great and it was nice to not have to do it after a long day of traveling. They are also super fair in pricing and we will 100% be back for any boarding, day care, training or grooming needs!
I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have used Ashley and Abbie regularly for walking my dogs as well as check in on my kitties. They are wonderful to work with. Very dependable- they have never missed an appointment. I know they have a busy schedule but will do their best to fit you in for a last minute visit. Recently, I was home recovering from surgery and I got a chance to observe my pets when they Abbie or Ashley arrive to take them for a walk…. My dogs get so excited to see them. You can tell that they genuinely care about animals. Also, they take the best photos of my fur babies!!

This place WAS great and has been fantastic! I was going there for almost two years now. It's 45 min for me and has been well worth it! Both my dogs have come a long way and can't wait to see how much further they progress. 😊 However, the owner has abandoned this to move onto something else and it is under new management that has been a dissapoinment and changed what they have said so I will no longer be back there and will find something else. Therefore, I no longer suggest this facility.

Dog School Charlotte provides excellent training for pup and human! We are very pleased with our progress. We were having significant problems with our rescue. Dog School Charlotte folks are professional, courteous, extremely responsive and always on time! We are looking forward to continuing our advanced obedience & group training with them! Highly recommend!!
We love Animal People! Our pup is always excited to go and tuckered out when she gets home. If anyone is going to take care of our floof, they need to be animal people, just like us! Affordable care by folks that love our pup like just like we do!
Ashley and Aaron offer a warm and welcoming home away from home for your fur babies. The facility is kept clean and well organized and the dogs have plenty of indoor and outdoor space to run and play. I love that they send pupdates to the owners to let them know how their fur baby is doing. I have complete confidence recommending them to anyone!
Simply the best! We can’t recommend Animal People enough. Our pup spent two weeks with their team, and she had the best time. We got regular updates and photos throughout her stay. It’s very evident everyone on the Animal People team truly care for each pet in their care.

Highly recommend! This is Petey's third day care session with CK, and I'm extremely happy with the care they give my senior pup. I was worried about him with other dogs due to his reactivity when I'm with him, but he's had a great time, has had no issues interacting with the other pups, and comes home tired and happy! The staff are all very nice, and you can tell they truly love the pets in their care. Thank you so much CK!!
Audrey is so awesome! I have a 90lb reactive dog who is a sweetheart but can be a little nuts at times and they take amazing care of him! If you need to board your pet, but are worried about them just know they will be just fine and this is the place to bring them!
Just picked up my kitties from vacation and I couldn’t recommend Charlotte Kennels enough!! The staff was awesome and even sent me “report cards” on how they were doing throughout the week. I was a little nervous about leaving them in a new place but I was not disappointed in the least! So glad I found somewhere I can comfortably leave my babies and not have to worry. Thank you for taking such great care of my big, nervous girls! It has been 2 years since I have been able to travel out of state to see family due to not having an option to board my pups. I have two large, high energy, anxious cane corso mix girls. One has shown reactivity and sees a behavioralist. Charlotte Kennels were not afraid of my pups size, and took the time to calm by own anxiety by taking note of all their various likes, needs, and quirks. They took the time to allow confident staff to build a rapport with them instead of ignoring or fearing them. Was a huge relief to know my girls were safely cared for while I was away. Will surely utilize again!
I am so glad that we found Charlotte Kennels. Our dog loves going to daycare there and making new friends. I always know that she will be loved and well taken care of when leaving here there for several days.
We LOVE everything about Charlotte Kennels ! ! Bentley Thor visits twice a week for daycare and enrichment; and CK is our go-to when we are out of town. The staff is loving, compassionate, takes care of our boi' and interacts and plays with Bentley Thor whether in daycare or boarding. Bentley Thor especially loves Alex (and I cant remember the other) ! I trust Charlotte Kennels 110% and recommend their facilities without hesitation. Thank you for loving him !
My boy stayed at Charlotte Kennels and all went well! That is saying a lot because he needs to be kept away from other animals and walked alone. They followed exact instructions and had a lot of notes on him so all went smoothly. Also, they had simple website and they were very good with communicating before and while Finn stayed with them. I recommend. Update for 2024, still great people, took great care of my boy.
I HIGHLY recommend Charlotte Kennels. Everyone there is so attentive to our big fell, McGregor (English Mastiff). As big as he is, he is a little nervous, so they recommended the luxury suite. It has been perfect for him. Thanks everyone at Charlotte Kennels!!!!
