Michelle and her fur babies are delightful and gave me a very warm welcome on arrival. She has a comfortable home set in a lovely suburb with plenty of parks, shops, cafes and close to transport. Boo Boo and Yogi loved going on morning walks to the park and Misty enjoyed her morning cuddles. This was an enjoyable sit and one I would recommend to other sitters. Thank you Michelle for a lovely HS stay.
Pickle was great, she took a few days to warm to us, but after that she was into head rubs and naps on us! She was easy to look after and very pleased to see treats! The house was new, well equipped and very clean. Wrington is a cute little village, with pubs and corner store. The chip van also comes on Fridays - and has very good chips! It was about 30 mins drive to Bristol and close to the airport. Alex was very easy to communicate with, before and during the sit. Thank you. This has been one of our favorite sits and would highly recommend.
We did not meet Jo and Charlie prior to our stay, however we were provided with ample instructions upon our arrival via their P.A. and printed documents. Their lovely house has a bucolic setting near Bruton and lends itself to pleasant walks with or without dogs. The dogs in question are two beautiful black Labradors, who were the most obedient dogs we encountered during our housesits. They were a pleasure to look after. Furthermore, we were able to visit various National Trust establishments and places of interest in the locality. All in all an enjoyable housesit.
House sitting for Melissa and Mark was such an incredible experience. Firstly, Melissa and Mark were very welcoming and we really enjoyed spending time with them. They provided us with detailed guidelines/information about the house, the pets and the area which was most welcomed! Set at the foot of mountains in the French Alps, Melissa and Mark's home is stunning. The views are absolutely breathtaking and it was perfectly located for walks and hikes. The house itself has everything you need and is very spacious with all the amenities you would hope for. The cats, Jouncey and Jiggle are so full of character and are very easy to look after. They roam free day and night and will return for food if their hunting mission goes amiss! There is a cat flap system in the house, so the cats are able to come and go as they please. Although they are not the most affectionate cats i.e. they won't want to sit on your lap while you watch TV, they do show rare glimpses of an affectionate side which is a lovely surprise! The chickens were wonderful to look after too. Like homing pigeons, they return to their coup at night after roaming and feasting on the beautiful and luscious grass during the day. They are proper free range chickens and have some friends next door too. And don't get us started on how tasty their eggs are! One thing is for sure, this house sit will ruin any other eggs for you ever because they are that delicious.
This pet sit was perfect. Mireille was so welcoming! She literally thought of everything and made me feel so comfortable. Her condo is amazing and the view of Ottawa was spectacular. Gym and pool were great. Proximity to downtown Ottawa was awesome. An easy drive to everywhere. Ophelia and Margot were so fun. A little shy at first but didn’t take long to gain their trust. Would love to go back anytime!
