Tayla

Tayla did a fantastic job of looking after our cat Lilo whilst we were away recently! Lilo is often quite a shy at first and also needed some medication whilst we were gone, but Tayla was very patient and looked after her so well, it was reassuring to know that Lilo was in safe hands. Tayla was also very good at communicating with us before and during the sit and it was lovely to hear how things were going and get regular updates. Our home was left very clean and tidy and we’d definitely recommend Tayla for any future sits :)

Fiona and Derek have just completed a week house sitting and caring for our two boisterous bengals. They are lovely people who, from our initial chat with them, we immediately knew would give us a great house-sit, which they certainly did! Communication was great from the get-go. And they were more than happy to arrive the day before we left on holiday to meet the cats and allow us to show them the workings of the house. While we were away, they sent us several messages a day to let us know how things were going. Which was much appreciated. And they clearly enjoyed their stay making the most of the house and local surroundings, especially walking sections of the SW coastal path. And from a couple of the photos they sent, clearly had a good time with the cats! On our return, the cats were relaxed, happy and had obviously been well cared for. And the house was immaculately clean and tidy. Many thanks again Fiona and Derek. And as already said, we would be delighted if you would like to house-sit again for us sometime in the future.

Despite some difficulties with travel arrangements, Trewin and Giorgia persevered to get here and were very flexible about initial arrangements. They got to know both pets very well in a short space of time and left them both happy and content. Would certainly book them again!

This is the second time that Fiona has looked after our dog Ramsey. She is extremely reliable and flexible. She understands our ‘special’ dog and makes sure he is happy. She was happy to meet and greet the couple who took over for the final week of our holiday and gave them all the info they needed. Would highly recommend Fiona to other pet owners.

Though Sarah’s love for animals is apparent, I can only give her 3-star rating for pet care and want to point out a few concerns. She attempted to change my dogs' diet from home-cooked meals to dry kibble without consulting me and didn’t administer the correct medication dosage as prescribed by the vet. She was reluctant to follow the established walking routines and occasionally delegated the walking and feeding duties to my house manager. I couldn’t fully rely on her to maintain the dogs' usual lifestyle and routine, which is reflected in the reliability rating. It was challenging to address these issues with her, and I was fortunate that my house manager was on site, allowing me to resolve the situation.

Eva & Lauren

Eva and Lauren looked after our three Cocker Spaniels while we were away for a few days. From the moment they arrived we knew they would be brilliant! They were both enthusiastic and very dog focused.It was obvious that the dogs loved them ! Each day we were away they sent us a couple of photos of walks or of the fun they were having which was very reassuring. We arrived home to a lovely bunch of flowers and some delicious home cooked chocolate brownies. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending Eva and Lauren as competent and caring sitters for your dogs.

Alex took great care of the house while i was away. She was very self sufficient and communication to the necessay allowing me to relax and enjoy my holiday. On my return the house was immaculate and everything just ad I had left it!

We were very pleased with Mary Ann as our sitter for our two cats, as well her meticulous care of our home. She quickly figured out that Francesca was a sweet lover of human contact, and Mary Ann enjoyed being able to show her the affection she craved. Oliver was more of a challenge, so Mary Ann cheered her success in having him show up for meals alongside Francesca. She sent us notes and photos each morning which was very comforting to us. 

Mary Ann left before we returned late. The house was clean and straightened and the sheets washed and folded on the bed she used. Both cats greeted us at the door upon our return.

We would love to have Mary Ann sit for us anytime in the future.

Donna

Katy is a wonderful sitter!  She sat for Luna for 12 days this fall.   Communication from the start was easy and reliable.  She is mature, pleasant, responsible, easy going.  She sent daily messages with photos or a video.  She even took Luna for a hike and swim in the Columbia Gorge.  Luna loved her and in fact, slept with her the night I arrived home.  Clearly they had bonded!    I came home to a very clean, tidy house.   I hope Katy will be available for a future sit.  HIGHLY recommended!
