5 Stars doesn’t do justice to how highly I review Krista and Tom. They were phenomenal across all domains. Most important, of course, was the love and care they showered upon our dog. It was evident throughout all our interactions that they loved him and treated him like their own. They even took initiative for new tots and grooming - truly above and beyond. Additionally, K&T took great care of our home. They were very flexible around the arrival of packages, housekeepers, etc. They left the house beat and tidy, with everything in its place. I certainly recommend them extremely highly, without the slightest reservation!
Josephine and her mom Mimi were great house-sitters and loving pet care providers. My home is a flat in a four-flat 1901 Victorian building on Castro hill that has been a rental for possibly most of its existence and is antiquated and sort of cabin-like in its simplicity. Mimi went through all my run down on the electrical deficiencies and entered the scary basement with a flashlight so I could show her where to flip the switches back to “on” if overuse of electricity caused them to flip off, and other such oddities of the building not only in good humor but happy with recognition of the home she had grown up in. What a relief! And on the kitties side of things, oh my, the ladies were delighted to meet the three and learning how to distinguish and the names of the identical three one and a half year old brother and two sisters. Mimi went through the toys happily choosing the ones to start her play with. They asked questions showing their involvement with the care-giving. When I came home to a super clean and well ordered house I saw the three search for the ladies and I think I saw some disappointment in my three furry babies that Josephine and Mimi had left them. We all hope they will come back, and I have already offered them future dates.
