McKenzie and Patrick were the best! They took care of our pets and house amazingly. When we returned from our trip our dog and cat were super happy and calm and the apartment was in perfect shape. We were lucky to have the chance to meet them before leaving for our trip and they're very kind and helpful. We would absolutely have them over again, and if you are thinking of having them over don't think twice, they truly are amazing people.
It was an absolute pleasure to house-sit for Angus & Jane. They are fantastic hosts, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable house-sitting experience. From the very beginning, they were organized and helpful. Angus gave me a lift from the Chester train station (saving me from having to cycle uphill to the village). Jane provided me with a handy list of instructions, which made it easy to look after their house and pets during my stay. Angus even took the time to show me the best places to walk the dogs and how to prepare their meals. Their house is absolutely amazing. It's huge and very comfortable. I particularly loved the heated floor, which made it warm and cozy during the chilly winter days. The dogs, Wilf & Sid, are fantastic pets. They love to go for morning and evening walks along the river, and they always follow me around, full of energy. The chickens and ducks were also easy to look after, and it was always fun to check for fresh eggs each morning. Overall, I had a wonderful time house-sitting for Angus & Jane. They are lovely hosts who make you feel right at home, and their dogs are fantastic companions. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home!
We thoroughly enjoyed this sit and we were a little sad to leave Beanie. She is a beautiful dog who loves a good walk & a play in the garden. She loves you to throw her toys to fetch & then a tug to get them back off her. She is very affectionate and will often come over for a back scratch or will sit on you for a fuss. She will walk to heel when on a lead & when off lead her recall is pretty good. Emma, Will & girls were very welcoming when we arrived. We had a thorough handover. Emma prepared great notes for us including local walks. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated and has a lovely family feeling. The gardens are spacious with lots of outside areas to enjoy. This is a fabulous sit and if you get the opportunity to sit here don't hesitate to do so.
Jennifers place was great. I loved looking after her dogs and cat. I also really enjoy feeding the chickens!
We loved our short stay at Dani's lovely lodge looking after the chickens, goats and Zac the cat. The lodge was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. Dani was easy to communicate with and everything went as planned. The chickens and goats were easy to care for, they just needed feeding and locking up at night / letting out in the morning. The chickens gave us lovely eggs, and the goats provided endless entertainment. Zac was the perfect cat, happy to be in or out and he sat with us to watch tv in the evening. There are walks from the door and easy access by car to Cheltenham, Gloucester and the Cotswold villages. We would be very happy to return in the future.
Wally was so much fun to look after. The apartment is very nice and in a fun neighborhood. Would highly recommend this sit.
