I had a wonderful time cat-sitting Lakshmi! She is honestly the most beautiful cat and is very well-mannered :) She loved being brushed and playing with her mice and moon toys and would occasionally run after the springs/mice if you threw them. She always wanted to be near me while I was working and when it was bedtime, which was very cute, and will make it known when she wants to drink from the faucet or go out on the landing (or when she's done being petted). Banafsheh was very easy to communicate with and her apartment is in a great location, right near Brown University and Fox Point. I took runs to Blackstone Park and walks along the river and India Point Park. I had a lovely time and would highly recommend this sit!
Ashley and Marc were very welcoming and provided very clear instructions, positive attitude and good communication. I was provided with my own guest room which was cozy and clean. Teddy was such a smart, quirky, unique little guy. Once he trusts you and gets to know you, he is very sweet and is a fast learner. He loves his belly rubs and walks. He's at his best with structure and routine. I can't say enough about Ashley and Marc's neighborhood and neighbors...top notch. It's the perfect location with restaurants, parks and historical landmarks nearby. Overall, this was a very good sit. Thank you Ashley and Marc!!
I loved spending time with Kane, the sweetest pitt, in his gorgeous home. Kane is a very well-behaved dog who is clearly loved and cared for by his owners. He is also very gentle and loves to snuggle. While he is a big, strong dog, he has excellent manners and a well-established routine so everybody knows what to expect. His deafness wasn’t an issue - I just used visual or tactile cues to get his attention. The home is just as amazing as Kane - it has a beautiful lofted floor plan with a cozy guest room. The home is spacious and modern - my favorite part was the gorgeous kitchen. It is about 30-45 minutes from downtown Cincinnati depending on traffic. I had a wonderful time housesitting for Kane and his family. They are clearly wonderful people who have given him a great life and comfortable home.
