We had the most dreamy time in Thomas's flat. Despite sadly not being able to meet Thomas, he was seriously accomodating and kept in touch with whatever questions we had. The dogs are so so lovely - very easy and friendly. Willow is a bundle of love and affection who literally lights up a room. Barna is a chilled out cutie who is playful and adoring. We fell in love with them both. The flat is in a great location and is such a treat to stay in. Air con, fully kitted out! Really loved this sit and these dogs, would go back in a heartbeat!
Felicity, Chris and the family welcomed us into their well organised and very clean home on our arrival. We were introduced to Baxter who is the most delightful, enthusiastic and well trained English Pointer. Our week with Baxter walking the nearby walks and hills was an absolute pleasure and we would return to look after him in a heartbeat should the opportunity arise. Felicity left us some videos to demonstrate how to use various appliances and feed Baxter. This made all processes easy and problem free. Kemsing is very close to Sevenoaks which is a lovely town with everything you need and is close to several National Trust properties which are well worth a visit and means Baxter is not left too long on his own. If you have the opportunity to housesit for Baxter and this lovely family you are privileged and will have a very enjoyable stay.
The best things about house and pet sitting are that you meet lovely people and their beautiful pets and that you are made to feel like home. This definitely happened to us in Silver Spring. Regina welcomed us into her cozy house like old friends and her two cuddly Birman cats Leo and Enzo quickly took to us. We spent 3 awesome weeks in 'Leisure World' Maryland ', we were allowed to use the pools and other amenities and Regina generously let us use her car for grocery shopping and trips to the beautiful countryside. We certainly would love to come back one day and resume our many stimulating conversations.
Tasha is one of the most lovable cats we’ve met. She is incredibly relaxed and happy with cuddles once she gets comfortable with you. Looking after her is a breeze and something we’d happily do again. Frankie and Rory are delights as hosts. They made us feel very welcomed at their home (which is lovely) and ensured we had no questions about looking after Tasha. They were always contactable if needed. Thank you
We had a wonderful time house sitting at Kai and Charlie’s place. Dallas is a great wee dog - he loved his morning walks and gave us a tour of his neighbourhood each morning. Ringo and Coco are gorgeous cats - we were amazed at how well all 3 pets got on together - they were buddies. Kai and Charlie’s home is a great space, inside and out - we hung around the house and the decking most of the time as it was so relaxing! There are 3 supermarkets less than 10 minutes walk away and a number of coffee shops/restaurants nearby. Communication with Kai was fantastic from the outset and during the sit. Kai and Charlie were very welcoming and kind. We would house sit again in a heartbeat! Thank you very much for the opportunity Kai and Charlie!
Nyshie and her cat Ella were a pleasure to sit for. Her apartment is located in a nice part of Condesa on a quiet street near lots of restaurants and shops. Ella can be a little temperamental at times but just give here a few treats and let her play with the water in the sink a bit and she is fine. Recommend this sit for anyone wishing to experience one of the nicer neighborhoods of Mexico City.
