Kelly and Miguel were abundantly communicative before and during the sit. Because our dogs didn't know them they had to be won over (the dogs, not Kelly an Miguel). Kelly and Miguel made it happen. Plus: they left the house cleaner than we did. A lovely and reliable couple!
Molly and Simon were wonderful sitters - highly recommended. They were flexible in meeting ahead of the scheduled sit to do a house walk through which makes us much less anxious when leaving. They kept us updated on the pups throughout their stay and we have no doubt they were spoiled with affection, especially little old Bo! The gang always seems to have a little bit of a "house sitting hangover" when we come back since they tend to get less attention than with the sitters (our 2 year old requires a lot of ours), and this one seemed to be one of the worst so far (a good sign, honestly!). We came home to a fastidiously clean home which was such a relief after a long day/night of travelling. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Molly and Simon for any sit.
Leah has wonderful energy and is very present to the realities of house and pet sitting. The house felt better than when we left it, and our cat was clearly comfortable and content. Leah laundered sheets and towels and obviously cleaned around the house - it was noticeable! We highly recommend Leah: you'll be lucky to have her in your home.
We had a fantastic time housesitting for John and Ali. They are very friendly, welcoming and lovely people. John was very kind, picked us up from the station and even helped us to grab some groceries to begin our time in Oxfordshire. We absolutely adored Mango, Coco and the chooks. Both of the dogs are so sweet and affectionate, and the chickens are really gorgeous too. The house and garden are beautiful, as is the surrounding area. We highly recommend that you visit the White Horse, as it was a highlight for us.
