Bridgette was fantastic. She really helped us navigate the TH system as it was our first experience using the service. Her energy was great and Ruby (our dog) was so happy. As a matter of fact, as Bridgette was leaving, Ruby wanted to get in her car instead of being with us. She kept us up to date with their fun outings. Our house was spotless and she kept it as if it were her own. We hope to have her back!
We had a great time with Leo. Brussels is so dog friendly so we took him out in the tram to cafes and parks and he was wonderful! Karen’s place is well situated and Brussels is a beautiful city! Karen was very good at communicating and we enjoyed our experience! We will miss Leo!
I arrived at Lymstone by train after a delayed, lengthy journey. Ann & Clive were there to meet me & took me to their home where we enjoyed a lovely meal. Lympstone is a beautiful village with many walks nearby. It's also easy to get to Exeter with regular trains and buses. Alfie is adorable but I did experience some problems. As he's still a puppy he is exuberant but his behaviour was also erratic. I put this down to a recent house move which he probably found unsettling. This was undoubtedly exacerbated by Ann and Clive having to leave him for a couple of weeks. With a little more training, and the security of having Ann and Clive home, I feel certain Alfie will settle down quickly. Despite the problems with Alfie (he spent the second week with Ann and Clive's son and his family) I had an enjoyable stay. The house was very comfortable and I managed to see something of the surrounding area.
Mimi & Biff were incredibly kind during the entire sit. When I had the interview with them over zoom, I could instantly feel their energy and kind hearts. I really appreciated them choosing me to stay in their home to watch their cats. The view on their balcony is really gorgeous. Notes for future sitters: The location is more of a residential area and the street is very dark at night. They suggested at the beginning it would be best to go out early and to come back before it gets dark and I would second that to future sitters if you don't have a car. A point to add is one of the cats ended up peeing on my backpack. I would recommend sitters to place their belongings in a closed area if they can to avoid this. Thanks again!
Coming back.
It was such a joy to care for Phil & Ellie. Ivy's place is absolutely amazing and located in the heart of Williamsburg. We enjoyed exploring the neighborhood as we took Mr. Phil on several walks to the different dog parks in the area. Ivy's apartment has everything you might need and more. It is conveniently located to multiple subway lines, and dozens of amazing restaurants. The work from home setup is great, and it was an added bonus having a washer and dryer in unit. We adored hanging out with our furry friends Phil & Ellie. Ellie and Phil are such sweet animals and an absolute joy to be around. We would be absolutely honored to pit set them again anytime!
I had an amazing time at Natasha & Andre's lovely home. Mowgli is adorable and friendly, very passionated about being brushed (we feel you, Mowgs — who doesn't like a good hair massage ?). He is a quiet cat and communicates very well about his needs, so it was very easy to take care of him. Mowgli might keep a remarkable poker face, but he's also a very kind and tender being. It was heartbreaking to say goodbye to this little friend. Natasha and Andre are so nice, welcoming, always available for any questions. It was a pleasure to communicate with them and follow their precise and tasteful recommendations about this amazing city, which helped me to live the best experience in Athens. (If you're a coffee lover, you are between good hands!) Their home is a perfect reflection of their inhabitants : warm, full of good vibes, luminous, welcoming and harmonious. I'm very thankful to Natasha, André and Mowgli for this beautiful experience ☀️
