Shirley stayed in our house for 8 nights and looked after our two pets. She seems like a nice person who likes animals. We had two issues with this sitting experience. It came to our attention that Shirley did not sleep in our house the first and second night of her stay. She came home late the following mornings which meant our pets were fed a few hours later than usual. On the third day we questioned her about this and she apologised and explained it was due to personal circumstances. The second issue we had was that when we returned, there was twice the amount of pet food remaining than there should have been. Our pets were unfortunately underfed and had lost weight. We assume that she misunderstood the feeding instructions. We contacted Shirley to ask her about this but she didn’t reply to our message.
Sheila and Tom were great house sitters! We were glad we got to meet them before the sit and we knew our dog would be in great hands. They kept us updated the whole time. Would be happy to have them back!
