Anna was fantastic with our god Willie. He loved her immediately and we could tell upon return that he was well cared for by Anna. She sent a few photos of Willie while we were gone (at my request) and he looked very happy on his walks. The house was tidy and clean upon our return.
We have never been more prepared for a situation than by the owners Chris and Maja. They have a house manual worthy of the Bern tourism department, and their communication before, during, and after our stay was incredible. Tipsy and Polly were easy to care care for, and once they get to know you, especially Tipsy, they are cuddle monsters. The house location could not be in a better place to discover Bern. Amazing people and wonderful cats makes this a truly memorable experience.
Penny and Nick were great hosts, I came the day before, they made dinner and we went over instructions for Pip. Pip was a cool kitty, spent a lot of his time outside but will let you know when he's hungry 🤣 Richmond is a nice area, Richmond Park and Kew Gardens were both lovely :-) Thanks again!!!
Loved this housesit! Lorree is warm and loving and I felt immediately comfortable - like we had met before :). She's thoughtful and communicative and just a wonderful person (as is Steve!). The house was a big and cozy beautiful log cabin that's in the cute town of Nederland, and a short drive to Boulder. Had some snow while I was there which was so pretty, and got to enjoy the heat stove with the pups. All the dogs were relaxed, well behaved, and super sweet. They get let out in the back yard during daylight hours making it easy for them to go to the bathroom and get some exercise. Jude is the old guy and I felt like he was watching over me out of care. Cami is a sweet gal that loves attention and her big chew bones! Arroyo was the sweetest dog I may have ever met and I mentioned I would steal him if he was up for grabs! He laid on me alot for naptime and snuggles. Definitely recommend this sit and would love to visit in the future. Thank you!
I had the most wonderful time with Titch and Peanut. These Siberian cats are absolute delights! Being outdoorsies they like to do their own thing, however evening time means affection time and they expect to be shown some! Titch likes to be brushed and has her own designated spot for it. Peanut likes some play and a chin rub, and will occasionally curl up close on the sofa. Their wild and mysterious appearance is kind of awe-inspiring. I met Kate and James before the sit and liked them both immediately. They are so kind and grounded and made me feel at home right away. Their light-filled, dreamy house has a great feel to it, with a large garden to enjoy, in a charming and peaceful neighbourhood. I can’t recommend this sit highly enough. I loved spending my time with Titch and Peanut and hope more opportunities will come. Thank you Kate and James for having me!
These two kitties are hilarious. Nera is curiosity itself and Pabu is a bit of a philosopher. The apartment is comfortable - you'll have everything you need. Maddie and Scott are communicative and supportive.
We had amazing time at Emma’s place with Frida and Ralph. You can always count on Ralph for brining high energy. At the same time he is a softie, likes to cuddle and sleep together. Frida is just adorable and has exquisite manners. It took her a few days to open up, but after that, she couldn’t help, but to show her cuteness, following us everywhere and giving kisses. It was really easy to care for the dogs, because Emma has a backyard and we could always let them out to run around and play. They also don’t wake up super early to pee, if we wanted to sleep a little longer, they just slept with us. The house is super beautiful, the kitchen inspired us to cook with even more love. We felt like at home and communicated with Emma frequently. Thanks to Emma for her hospitality. We made a few furry friends and a few human friends as well.
