Melanie is an incredible pet sitter and an absolutely lovely human being. Although very stable, our cat Roxy is diabetic, along with several other issues including small cell lymphoma; and as a result she requires very acute care including twice-daily insulin shots and 5-6 pills/day. Not only was Melanie undeterred by Roxy's specific needs, she was eager to pet sit for us based on all of her experience caring for high-need pets. Her confidence and enthusiasm quickly made me feel at ease and we selected her, even though she had to fly in from Edmonton for our sit. Because the 'Zeewoi' site features a weekly calendar from Monday - Sunday, I got our date wrong by a day and Melanie pivoted without hesitation. She came to the house the evening before we left and spent 2 hours going through the details of our home, and most importantly Roxy. She is extremely organized and independent, had reviewed all of the extensive written communication I had sent her, and she left with me feeling completely confident Roxy was in the best care. We traveled to South America and were without communication for a week of our trip. After a visit to the vet just prior to Melanie's arrival, Roxy's levels didn't check as well as they should and antibiotics were added to her daily pill dosage. We had a back-up plan and contact for Melanie, and she worked with them seamlessly as we had set it up; however, no additional support was required for her or Roxy. The few moments I was able to get an internet connection, Melanie had sent regular updates, photos and videos of Roxy; and we continued on our holiday feeling completely confident all was well. While we were away, Melanie received a grocery order for me, putting everything away; she restocked Roxy's pill organizer for when we came home (that goes to show how well she understood everything Roxy was taking and why); and she left a framed photo of Roxy on our counter for our middle-of-the-night home coming. And on top of all of that, she hid Easter eggs and wrote a note from the Easter Bunny so our kids could experience Easter morning the next day. I would highly recommend Melanie as a pet and home sitter. Our house comes with a few quirks and as we reviewed the alarm for example, she knew more about it's workings than we did. She is incredibly independent, capable of managing complicated pets that require special care, and will make you feel she has everything under control when you leave your most meaningful pets and possessions in her hands - which she does. I can't recommend her enough. Thank you Melanie!!

We had an amazing time looking after Honey and Maggie! They are absolutely adorable. If you love snuggling up on the sofa with a doggo on either side, you're in for a treat! We really bonded with both of them and it was a joy taking them to the local park everyday which is just minutes from the house. Honey and Maggie are strong, energetic dogs who are very well-behaved. Their excellent recall and training made them an absolute pleasure to be around. Holly, Jimmy and their boys were fantastic hosts. We arrived a day early as they had an early flight and they treated us to a meal, making for a great evening together. They made us feel very comfortable and welcome. The house itself is lovely with plenty of room and a big garden. The hot tub was an added bonus! We stayed in the master bedroom & the bed was super comfy (we both slept like babies). The neighborhood has a lot to offer. There's a Tesco Express and a Sainsbury’s Local just a few minutes' walk away. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to central Southbourne where you'll find plenty of nice places to eat and drink. From there, it’s less than 10 minutes to the sandy beach which stretches for miles. There are lots of cool cafes and bars to choose from and the promenade takes you all the way into Bournemouth town center. We would return in a heartbeat. This was one of our top sits and we highly recommend it!
