My wife and I recently completed a December dog sit for a very relaxed and friendly Labrador named Woody. His tail never stopped wagging while we were there and showering him with affection. Just a wonderful, chilled older Lab. Woody's owners were open and friendly and helped make this sit fun and enjoyable for us. They left a great write up for taking care of Woody along with things to see and do in the surrounding area of their beautiful country estate home. Top marks for this family and Woody. Thank you.
It was a pleasure to sit for Bishop. He was a true gentleman; polite, didn't bark, at all his food, didn't jump on the furniture or me. I was amazed at how well mannered he was. Rita's house was adorable and so was the community. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and enjoy Black Mountain. Hope to be able to visit again soon! Appreciate the warmth and kindness from Rita and her husband. I had the honor of taking care of the neighbors cat too! Phoebe was a bit prickly but she warmed up to me a bit here and there. I had a lovely time with Disco in Alec’s beautiful apartment. Disco is such a vibrant and playful kitty with a sweet personality, i absolutely adored her. The apartment is so cute and clean and in a great spot in Brooklyn… literally like 20 steps away from a subway stop. I will definitely be back again. :)
What an absolutely fabulous sit. Kate and Jerry were so welcoming and their house is just stunning, I wanted to move in and stay there forever. The garden is so beautiful and peaceful, that when we weren't out walking the dogs, we just sat out there admiring it. And onto the real reason we were there, Willa and Dilly were just lovely, so friendly and well behaved. Perfect recall when out walking, even when they were tempted to chase some deer, they stopped immediately and came straight back. Moppet the cat is super friendly too and no trouble at all. Overall, the perfect sit for us, we absolutely loved it and can't wait to return.
I very much enjoyed my 'Sit' at Robert's lovely home. The dogs Ruby and Olivia are friendly, well behaved and endearing company. The cats: Koothrapali is an independent character, Leonard is friendly and Charlie was most keen to join my Zoom meetings and hang out with me. Robert's home is beautifully warm, cosy and characterful (1600's cottage in parts, ) and the bed was extremely comfortable. About 15 minutes drive from the beach for walks and 10 mins from a variety of the big supermarkets. The garden looked like a wonderful place to relax in the sunshine. My sit was in February, so a bit too wet and windy for me to enjoy sadly. It's very quiet there, only an occasional passing car and a great place to appreciate the stars on a clear night as there's minimal light pollution. I would recommend it to other 'Sitters'
Jonathan was a brilliant host, we met a week before our cat sit to discuss Henry's routine and pick up the keys etc. Our sit was only very short but Jonathan made us feel very comfortable and his house and the location are amazing, it's only a short stroll into Wilmslow and into Alderley Edge. Henry is the cutest cat ever, he is independent but loves a cuddle especially a head tickle. He also joined us in the lounge when we watched TV in the evenings. His routine is very easy and undemanding. We would love to pet sit again and can't recommend Jonathan and Henry highly enough. Thanks for the hospitality and experience.
