I don't like the word review much as it feels judgmental and remote. There is nothing "remote" about David and Stephanie. They are sweet, gregarious people, people you'd like to have as neighbors. To the point of this review, they excel as house sitters. They are qualified, competent and willing to ask questions when something isn't clear. The most telling anecdote was when the water heater stopped working. We exchanged texts about troubleshooting steps. While I was evaluating the heater's bad behavior, they were texting pictures of our kitty, Feste, who apparently was attempting to supervise the repair effort. As to Feste, our biggest concern was that he might decide to leave with them. We were entertained by daily videos and photos showing our 14 pound kitten curled around their feet or playing with his toys. If we could make David and Stephanie our permanent sitters, we would do it in a flash. Basically, we picked well and won the lottery.
Harrison & Destinee are amazing!!!! Hands down, the best sitters EVER. From the very first message in my inbox from Harrison, I knew they were absolute pro’s at this zeewoi game! Super fast and easeful communication, which indicated they were responsible and reliable. We quickly set up a FaceTime chat to meet, and immediately we felt comfortable with how friendly and trustworthy both Harrison and Destinee were. They asked all the right questions, and had clearly read our entire profile, showing us they really cared about our pet. I appreciate people who show attention to detail and Harrison was so attentive to our needs from the start! Super sweet of Harrison and Destinee to come over for a quick orientation (this was a local sit) to meet our kitty. Simba immediately warmed up to them with snuggles! Clearly animal people :) They made an extra effort to understand the routine of our indoor/outdoor cat, and his unique quirks. They sent so many awesome photos of Simba throughout the sit, which was so appreciated! We could tell he was in loving hands, and having a blast with his new friends. Harrison was super communicative via text if he had a question, making sure to let us know about package deliveries and when Simba was in for the night. We came back to a clean home, a VERY happy kitty, and the best part - beautiful printed photos Harrison had taken of our baby!!!! What a special treat! It totally made our night. Do yourself a favor and get Harrison and Destinee to sit for your pets and home - I truly don’t think there’s anyone better ;)
Kevin was so great! We had some pets that needed special care and attention and he took it all on without issue. We felt comfortable leaving our home and pets in his hands and would definitely love to have him sit for us again.
