This was an idyllic house/pet sit. Jolene and her family are generous and welcoming. Moonshine, the black lab, was a great deal of fun and a joy to be around. We fell in love with Moonshine and miss her a lot. The chickens are easy to take care of and the eggs they produce are something you just can’t get in a grocery store – fresh and natural. The house is comfortable with a large, well-equipped kitchen. To top it off, you are in Napa, a pretty town with lots of things to do. And, yes, the Napa valley offers great wine! Can’t wait to do this again if the opportunity arises.
Eva and Peter are down to earth, very kind folks with a beautiful property and the sweetest pups. We had a great time getting to know them and taking care of their farm. Buster and Pippi are extremely sweet and if you like being outdoors, there is plenty of work and activities you can get in to. Highly recommend! p.s. Having a chainsaw certification is a big plus! :)
We thoroughly enjoyed our recent sit at Margot and Beth's apartment in Toronto caring for sweet Phoebe. As Margot and Beth were taking a road trip, they took their dog Maisy with them, so our sit was only with Phoebe. Their apartment is bright and comfortable with a wide assortment of fantastic books, puzzles and games to enjoy. There is also a balcony ideal for relaxing. The apartment building is located at Yonge and Davisville where there are numerous restaurants, shops and grocery stores. It’s located on a transit bus route and is only a 7 minute walk to the Davisville Subway station which will take you downtown in 10 or so minutes. It's also located in a great neighbourhood for walking and cycling as well as steps to the Kay Gardiner Beltline Trail system. Driving to their building was straightforward and we were able to park in Margot’s parking space as they had taken their car with them. Phoebe was a true joy to be with. She is a cat who is immediately your best friend. She will sit next to you or on your lap where she loves to get her chin rubbed. She is easy to care for and a very lovely cat to be around. We would highly recommend this sit. Thank you Margot and Beth for having us stay in your lovely home and letting us spend time with the amazing Phoebe. We would love to be invited back to pet sit!
It was a pleasure looking after Amy's two cats Mia and Clem for a few days. These two furry balls are so adorable and easy to take care of. They immediately accepted me as their sitter and always told me when they are hungry, want to cuddle, or to play. Amy was very clear and fast in her communication, and her studio apartment is cozy and well equipped. I highly recommend Amy and her cats.
Nate and Vince are absolutely lovely cats, cuddly and sociable, we loved looking after them. This home is warm and comfortable and we felt very at home. Thank you for having us! We can’t wait to come back🩵
Monica and mark were very welcoming and their cabin is awesome! It's located in a little enclave with a few neighbors who are their friends and family. We had a great time. Calvin and Hobbes are adorable and energetic dogs. Hobbes is a little more chill and was happy to quietly cuddle on the sofa with us. Calvin has a bit of a hard time settling down and has a tendency to bark quite a bit. Moving his bed into our bedroom helped settle him down through the night so we could all sleep. All in all we had a nice time.
