It was such a pleasure to sit for David and Doug and keep their beautiful creatures Zena and Callie company for a week. Zena and Callie are nothing but sweet: Callie loves to be cuddled and to be around you and and has an endearing vigilance over her that just makes you want to comfort her. You don't see much of Zena the first day, but once she’s used to you, she’s amazing company and you are treated to her furry affection multiple times a day. Such enjoyable characters, not annoying for even a second, they totally stole my heart. Taking care of them and of the house was as easy as it gets: David and Doug's manual was nicely extensive, very clear and their sense of humour in the descriptions put a smile on my face. I loved their tips for the things to see and do in the city and for the grocery shops nearby (enjoyed the local Mercat lots!) and appreciated the Events Guide David sent me during their trip. Communication was easy upfront, during and after the trip, which I really appreciated. Their comfortable, tasteful apartment is located in the heart of Barcelona, making it the perfect base for exploring this wonderful, laid-back city. I felt at home immediately, had a tremendously good time and recommend this sit highly, I would definitely sit for David and Doug again.
Linda's mid-century house is super comfortable and within striking distance of some great Hudson Valley towns (Kingston, Woodstock) with lots to see and do. Most importantly, Kiki is super sweet and well-behaved, miss her already! Would highly recommend
A lovely and quiet home with a beautiful garden and Jacuzzi. The dogs were easy to look after and loved their cuddles and walks. The family were helpful and kind, collected and dropped me off at the train station and we had some really nice conversations. They also cooked a lovely dinner when I arrived on the first evening. I would definitely recommend this house sit.
Whiskey & Duo are just the sweetest kitties. They like to come over and say “hi’ and hang out with you. I enjoyed sitting for Olivia and her “fur babies”. Olivia communicated very well and it was easy to sit for her. Santa Monica is always a fun place to be. There are lots of great shops and restaurants within walking distance and the beach is nearby as well.
We are thankful to Kane and Parvy for giving us the opportunity for this house sitting. The first approach was done with Kane. Kane is an easy and pleasant person. He did everything possible to make us feel comfortable. During our stay, they trust us and dont push for information. I appreciate that they trusted us. Regarding their apartment, it is fantastic. Clean, cosy and with all you need for your stay. The bed is so comfortable. We renewed our energies there. And the location is perfect! Close to the metro in an old Parisienne neighbourhood, with all you need: markets, bakeries, and restaurants. And Skully is a fantastic, easy dog. He knows several commands. Skully filled us with his compassion and energy. He is a sweet and good companion. Additionally, he has infinite energy. You can walk with him for 2 hours, and he will have the energy to play when he is at home. We already miss him. We would love to do this sit again. I do recommend it; you will not regret it.
