Tom looked after our cat and our house for a little over a week. The house was well cared for upon our return and our cat seemed happy! He was responsible and self-sufficient, and flexible when we discovered we needed to come home a day early. We'd be happy to have him back again for another sit.

Tara
I had a lovely time on this quick sit in Fayetteville. Tara and her mom welcomed me with open arms. They spent plenty of time talking with me about the doggies and answering any questions I had. They were so gracious. Buck and Zipper were very laid back and sweet. We had some rain so spent most of the time indoors watching tv but did get a chance to play in the yard and visit the chickens! 🐓 I would definitely go back and watch Buck and Zipper anytime. Highly recommended.

Will & Bill were so welcoming and communicated throughout the whole sit to ensure I was comfortable. They have a beautiful home and great location. Thatcher, Aldrin , Bouncer and the chickens were a breeze to take care of. I would recommend!

Gill
I highly recommend sitting for Gill and James, to watch Dora, Enzo, and Primrose! I spent 3.5 weeks getting to love and adore on these beloved animals.

Dora and Enzo are such sweet, loving dogs. Enzo is so full of joy and enthusiasm, and his smile and boisterous attitude will melt your heart. Dora is so gentle and loving, and wants nothing more than to chase balls and protect you. The pups are experienced walkers with 1 long walk (about 3 miles/1 hour), and a shorter walk each day. There is a lovely water meadow nearby that both dogs can be off-lead, frolick in the water meadow (with good visibility to watch for other dogs), and swim in the river. Both dogs can be a bit strong on the lead when they are excited, but nothing I couldn't handle alone with an able body and a keen eye for other dogs or chaseable small animals. Dora can be a bit reactive towards other dogs, but this is easy to manage by keeping an eye out for other dogs, keeping her on lead when another dog is nearby, having her sit, holding her close, and praising her for good behavior as the dog passes by. Dora has phenomenal recall, so even in the meadow, she would quickly return to be put on lead if there was another dog that we would pass by. Gill was lovely about telling me how to navigate narrower parts of their regular walk to avoid confrontation and about safe distances to put Dora back on lead. Primrose is your classic housecat who loves food and loves sleep!

Gill and James took such lovely care of me as a sitter. They ensured I was picked up from the airport, dropped off at my train station of preference upon completion of my sit, and provided delicious meals on the night before my sit started and my final night at their home. Even their neighbors knew I was coming, and many of them checked in on me during my sit! They are such a lovely family, and live in such a lovely neighborhood!

I really enjoyed this location because of the small town feel, the incredibly hospitable culture of the neighborhood, and the beautiful historic architecture. They are within a 2 minute walk of a cricket field, which is lovely to watch a game on Saturday afternoons. They are also close to the University of Cambridge (25 min drive/ 1 hr bus ride), which is filled with absolutely stunning colleges and cathedrals dating back to 1209! It was otherworldly how beautiful Cambridge was!

I highly recommend this sit to anyone looking for a comfortable and calm sit, filled with peaceful walks, and loving pups (and cat)! I highly enjoyed my time with Dora, Enzo, and Primrose!

Ann
I very much enjoyed my sit for Ann and her cat Alexander. He was such a friendly cat and easy to care for.

The home is cozy, the yard beautiful and the neighborhood is walk-able and fun! The home is conveniently located and a great little place to use as a home base for exploring Portland.

Ann's instructions were clear and everything was easy to find in the house.

I would recommend this sit to anyone,

Thanks Ann!

Thomas and Chiara were awesome hosts! Communication was a breeze, everything went extremely smooth and Figaro, their cat, was a joy to be around. So cute and full of little lovely quirks! The flat was super cozy, and I felt right at home. Had a fantastic time and would definitely do it again. Thank you Thomas and Chiara!
