Unfortunately this is the first sit I could not rate as five stars. While Ellie, Lexi, and Twinkle were all very lovable, the communication and misrepresentation from Julia made for a very uncomfortable and stressful sit. Before confirming the sit, Julia and I had a lovely video chat where we discussed my remote work schedule and how this would work with the pets’ schedules. She confirmed there were no training issues or special needs with the two dogs. Due to my work schedule, I told her I would arrive the Sunday before and get an Airbnb. She said not to bother with booking one as her Airbnb was open and I was welcome to stay there. Pets: Two weeks before my arrival I got a rather panicked sounding text saying she was very stressed and would like my flight details for reassurance. Three days before my arrival I got another message saying she had adopted a new puppy and hoped this would not be a problem, later to find out that she got the puppy prior to asking for my flight details but neglected to mention it. While a new puppy is always fun, this was a little concerning due to the requested walking requirements of 2 + hours per day. On the walks we did together before she left, she wanted to play with the puppy so they had no practice walks as a threesome. Accommodations: Upon arriving we went directly to her home and only after directing me to bring in my bags did she mention her Airbnb was rented and I would be staying with her. I felt very put on the spot and did not want to start our relationship seemingly ungrateful so I decided to try and make the best of it. She made frequent jokes about whether I was “on the clock” during this time and I felt more like a worker who should be invisible when not needed than the welcome guest I have felt at all my other sits. Internet: The afternoon of arrival she complained three times about her internet and stated how much better it was at her Airbnb. In her ad she stated she had high speed internet and when we spoke previously, she confirmed she never had problems streaming. This was especially impactful as she knew I worked remotely full time and needed to be online during set hours. In the week that I was there, there was never availability for an hour straight and I was dropped from multiple conference calls and had to work late nights and the weekend to make up for the regular service interruptions. Length of stay and return details: The sit was listed as six days. Upon arrival she mentioned three days away and it ended up being four. When I tried to confirm when she was returning, she was very vague and deflected. Upon her return she mentioned this was because flights are sometimes delayed so she did not want to set expectations. Review request outside of platform: Before leaving I was asked if I would speak to her next sitter to confirm “how easy the three dogs were”. As the next sit was more than four months out and she requested I speak to the sitter the next day, this felt like a clear signal to influence my “reference” before she would provide my review. On some of my other sits, things have come up, but with great pet owners/partners, they were handled with little impact. Unfortunately, this time I did not have that partner.
Becky and Drake were very welcoming and our stay was enjoyable. Their home is very lovely with beautiful scenery to complement it. They made sure we had everything we needed during our stay, with it all very well spelled out on how to take care of everyone. Smudge and Maggie were easy to take care of and their personalities really started to show after some time with them. Emmy was pure joy and happiness, and the definition of a playful puppy but can also be really chill. We really enjoyed our playful moments with her as well as all the snuggles. If we ever get back to their area, we would happily sit for them again and highly recommend!
Cori's home is in the perfect location for relaxing on the river. She was inviting and gave me ample tips for exploring the surrounding area. Bentli and Nala were sweet and perfect off-leash; we went on many hikes and runs. I would highly recommend sitting for Cori.
Sarah's home is kitty-centric, and that is reflected back by the 3 most adorable, well-mannered, cuddly, intelligent, self-contained kitties I've met in more than a decade of housesitting! These are cats that have been raised with love and respect -- and it shows. In turn, each kitty came to me for caressing and tummy-rubbing (no claws! no nipping! no jealousy!)...No weird behavioral issues. Cats spent the night downstairs in the kitchen -- no catastrophes the next morning, no incessant whining about food when I first entered the kitchen. Instead I was greeted by expectant happy-to-see-me faces. I have never seen such well-adjusted, well-mannered cats. Sarah is a delight...Very communicative and responsive. She made me feel so welcomed. Her home (which she recently moved into) is airy, bright, cozy and comfortably "lived in." She's an artist and I was inspired by her whimsical decor. (Really, after arriving there, I decided to shut off all zoom and video chats for the weekend and immerse myself in this magical retreat.) Soon, she'll have a sauna in the back garden! Sarah also graciously made room for me in the fridge and in her daughter's spotless bathroom, which I appreciated. At first, I was concerned about the location of Sarah's home in this new neighborhood. But, it's only a 10-minute walk to Belhaven Beach and the iconic "bridge to nowhere." It's a 45-minute walk to the John Muir Alpaca Trek (so much fun!). 22 minute walk to Asda and to the bus stop to Edinburgh (which is an hour and 15 minutes). I was absolutely fine without a car. But there's a driveway for parking your car. The neighborhood is friendly, quiet and dark, allowing for amazing views from the back that overlook fields to Belhaven Bay. WiFi is steady and strong. Kitchen is spacious and well supplied. Plenty of room to work (as long as you are ok with the occasional check-up from a kitty!). Dunbar is charming and is the birthplace of John Muir, the famous "American" conservationist. His birthplace home, now a museum, is an interesting visit. The town is the sunniest place in Scotland, but don't let those rays fool you! The sea wind is cold, so when trekking the incredible walks (including the iconic John Muir Way), be sure to bundle up. I highly recommend this fabulous housesit -- and I hope to be back to be spoiled by these fabulous kitties again! Thank you so much, Sarah!
BEWARE you will fall in love with Alma and will be sad on your departure *ugly crying* Whether you're an artist looking for inspiration, a pet lover who wants the sweetest company ever, an escape from the world's craziness or all of the above.. this is THEE place to be. I was in awe every morning realizing I was staying at such a beautiful property. Olivia is a sweet soul with great communication and made me feel very comfortable from beginning to end. She even picked me up from the train station to ease my arrival. The house has SUCH a calming vibe - I literally fell asleep unintentionally minutes after entering the home (during the day and outside in the patio). Once Alma got comfortable with me, she would hop on my bed and cuddle with me at night and be my alarm clock in the morning - she'd either wake me up by licking me or gently tapping me with her paw... sooo cute! Overall, excellent house sitting experience and can't wait for another opportunity like this!
This was our first sit (we have had a number of people sit for us and they have been great) and it was wonderful! Princessa was absolutely adorable and she warmed right up to us! She even “helped” us play a board game 😂. Sara gave clear instructions and had a lovely apartment. We hope we have the chance to take care of Princessa again!

Our French bull dog has been coming to Patrols on Paws since she was a puppy. She is incredibly well looked after and has so much fun on her walks and daycare with Amie and the team. She comes back happy and exhausted and the photos we receive are amazing and give us a great sense of how much fun she’s having with all the other dogs. It’s a great service and we couldn’t manage without the team.
Charlie’s been going to day care with Paw Patrols for almost a year now and I cannot recommend them any more! The team is so nice, super on it with chats and updates. Photo updates are incredible and captures hilarious mid action moments from the day. Price is super reasonable as well. Charlie has also been to boarding with them and safe to say he has found a home away from home!

Professional, communicative and a very happy dog. I have been very impressed with Paw Patrols. You can see they do this job because they love dogs. The photo’s that you get throughout the day tell their own story and that our 1 year old, though very happy to see us at the end of the session would run back to the walker to say goodbye and this is after only 2 sessions with Paw Patrols. Lorraine has looked after Toby for around 3 years now for daycare. Tobys a greyhound and Lorraine put the time into really getting to know him and build trust, which was so lovely. She’s incredibly reliable and always supportive and trustworthy- 100% recommend.
Lorraine is best dog walker I have met, my dobbie went from one side of Nonsuch park to another side trying to find her and her pack, I was worried when she sprinted towards them few hundreds yards away but luckily Lorraine kept her safe until I come to pick her up.
Lorraine has looked after my border collie, Loki, for nearly 18 months now. I can't fault the care she provides for him - she's always punctual, very aware of health and safety and is extremely well qualified and knowledgeable. I would also add she's very customer orientated. Whenever there's a problem I know I can rely on her and considering her qualifications her pricing structure is very reasonable. There really aren't many dog walkers like her!
Have had an absolutely fantastic experience with Lorraine. Great with my Cockapoo Larry who absolutely adores her. Really flexible and attentive service. It is very obvious that Lorraine loves dogs and will look after yours like its her own. Lolli's-Pups has looked after our boy Nelson on a number of occasions now and he absolutely loves it there. Wonderful customer service and Groom. I have a highly playful, over stimulated puppy who hates grooms and brushes. I contacted Angela and Charlotte after visiting various groomers who were unable to groom my 6 month old Poochon Klaus. I was called straightaway after my enquiry and was given an appointment for the following week. My puppy is very hard work, but he came out with a lovely groom. My rabbit shamps was in a luxury hotel spot for a few days while I was away. Angela really is amazing made me feel very comfortable with daily updates. Angela looks after our cockapoo Nelly and has been absolutely amazing. She is super reliable and has never let us down. Angela is friendly and very professional and Nelly loves her. Nelly is always extremely excited to see Angela and despite being a dog who loves being with her owners, she happily goes off with Angela. SJ is a true animal lover. Trustworthy, gentle and attentive, SJ’s love for dogs is obvious in the way she handles the dogs in her care, always placing their interests first. SJ is incredibly caring towards our dog and we know that when she’s in SJ hands that she’s in the safest of hands. Our dog is elderly, has failing eyesight and lives through her nose but SJ is very attentive to her needs and tailors her walks according. SJ comes highly recommended. Feel very lucky to have her.
I have a busy life and have been unwell over the last year. Sarah has regularly walked my little golden doodle and she has helped me out dogsitting both day and night with very little notice varying stays from 1 night to 7 nights. Sarah is a gem and I value her skills and love of animals.

Jack has been walking George for roughly two years now and sometimes I actually think George loves him more than me. Jack is reliable, flexible, always punctual but most of all you can tell how much he loves the dogs and how well looked after they are! I have never had any problems and would highly recommend him to anyone searching for a dog walker. Jack also offers daycare and boarding, both of which I use regularly and George thoroughly enjoys! Also, the social media updates are the best!!!!
Jack has been looking after our pets for 4 years. Both our previous dog and now our current naughty young dog love him and have a fantastic time on walks. Jack is fab with animals and we feel we can trust him entirely with ours. He has also had Maisie for the weekend and fed our cat when we’ve been away. Super is all I can say, we had never had a dog or needed a walker before and found ourselves with both following a family bereavement. I can truly say my Bruno loves his walks and waits everyday at the door for pick up from 8am, his walks not till 12! I cannot recommend these people enough, absolutely amazing .

Our dog Bailey is the fifth member of our family so we wouldn’t trust him with anybody unless we felt hundred percent certain that he is in safe hands. Tom offers that exact safe environment with a good mix of other dogs where Bailey can run free but also have a cuddle when needed. Tom takes the hassle away each day by collecting and dropping Bailey off at our house. I know it’s like home from home for Bailey and we never have to worry that he is not being looked after and really cared for. We would totally recommend Under one woof!
We heard about Tom and Underonewoof from a recommendation from a friend. Tom and Sarah treat Toby when he is there as if he is one of their own, which is amazing and just what any dog owner would want. Tom has looked after Cody since he was a pup - now a 3 yr Labradoodle. Cody’s clearly very happy there and often tries to go through Tom’ gate when we pass by on a walk! Tom has a calm manner and the dogs are very well cared for.

Kevin and his team are well respected among the dog walkers I trust that use Wimbledon Common. That reassures me. As important my dog is kindly met by her walker that day and she trots off really happily (even for the old lady that she is).
What a complete blessing. I have been searching high and low for a dog walker that I feel truly comfortable with. Kevin and his team are so good- they are very intuitive and carful to match your dog with the other dogs to walk with so that the dogs will all get on with each other. Kevin and his team are professional, caring, kind and a safe option for your precious pooch!! My pooch loves 🥰Kevin. Big dogs, small dogs, medium sized dogs- Kevin is brilliant with them all. Kevin has walked Leo for three days this week (and at quite short notice) and I have had such peace of mind. This is the first time we have ever used a dog walker but now it won’t be the last. We cannot recommend kevin & Ben highly enough. They helped us out in a really tricky situation and when we were stuck they were so reassuring and professional. Our initial agreement was supposed to be short term. We were so impressed we have made it long-term! They’re unbelievably experienced and knowledgeable. We have a frenchie, energetic, needy, bit grumpy sometimes and socialable dog and theyre fabulous with him. We found the variety of walks, the communication, pictures etc has been brilliant. We have recently started using Kevin at The Dog Walker Wimbledon for daycare for our Labrador. We have been so impressed with it and Otta comes home happy every time. Kevin has great communication and always sends updates of the fun she is having. I highly recommend.
Our five month puppy is absolutely loving their day care - to the extent that I think she prefers being with her doggy friends and Kevin than with us! Kevin and Ben are professional and warm and organised but also flexible and accommodating. A great combination! Recommend them highly.
We can't recommend Kevin and the DWW team highly enough. Phoebe adores Kevin; being part of his 'pack' really helped to ease her anxiety around other people and dogs during lockdown. We're moving away from Wimbledon soon and will be so sad to say goodbye to Kevin. He really is fantastic and we doubt we'll find another dog walker like him! Gemma & Keith
Amazing family who treat every dog that stays with them as one of their own. I cannot recommend them highly enough. My girl stays regularly and i have complete trust in them. Keep up the great work you do guys that allows us dog owners to have holidays etc with complete peace of mind.
