We had such a wonderful time at Sara's place with Hemingway and Fitzgerald! They were so sweet and Sara was the most gracious of hosts. We highly recommend Sara and her adorable furry family.
This was a super easy sit in a beautiful home spending time with the fabulous Mr Chops. He's so laid back we sat together for 2 hours just combing out his dreadlocks... ha ha ha. it was like meditation for me after a mindnumbingly busy morning and he patiently sat there while I did it. Such a great cat who loves to play. Thankyou Hilary for a great week. We thouroughly enjoyed our time exploring North Adelaide. Once chops has spent time rolling around on his back pretending to be a dog as he does. Call me and I'd happily sit and de-dreadlock him again. Lol
I had a lovely 2 weeks in the county with Gus and some goats. Responsibilities were minimal and allowed for some beach time, some exploration and a wine tour. Gus is affectionate and very easy-going. He was a great companion. I was warned that the goats can get into some mischief, but they were no trouble. Jenny and Dan have a great home and left me with equally great instructions. Jenny was also available for questions, and comments on my updates. I'd welcome another invitation for this sit. I loved it
A wonderful sit in a lovely home with two special cats, Pumpy and Nutmeg. Our hosts, Inge and Ken, epitomise everything that is special about THS. They welcomed us warmly on arrival after our journey from Dublin. They kindly cooked a welcome dinner for us and we enjoyed a lovely evening together, we knew from that moment we were going to get along. Inge and Ken kindly showed us around the area the following day, treated us to to a lovely lunch and pointed out local places to visit. All instructions regarding Pumpy, Nutmeg and the home were explained. Ken has prepared a great welcome guide which was very useful. Inge and Ken have a beautiful home in a lovely, peaceful, setting in the Pays Basque region of France. Pumpy and Nutmeg were a pleasure to mind, Pumpy is the most gentle, friendly cat and wants nothing more than to be cuddled and petted(and fed!!), simply adorable. Nutmeg is her handsome brother, shyer and a little nervous to start. He gradually became more comfortable with us and loved to be brushed in the evening while sitting beside us on the couch. Inge and Ken were eager to ensure that we were comfortable/enjoying our stay and were available to answer any query promptly. It was lovely to explore the surrounding area, we did some great walks and ate in lovely local restaurants. On their return we had dinner together, enjoyed great conversation and solved the world's problems. We appreciate the trust Inge and Ken placed in us to care for Pumpy, Nutmeg and their beautiful home. We hope to return to this special place. Highly recommend this sit!!!
We had a lovely stay in Mark and Charlie's beautiful rural home. They were very accomodating and always had time to answer any questions we had about the sit. Lola and Sully are both absolute delights in very different ways. Lola loves nothing more than a cuddle on the sofa and is so affectionate. Sully has a bit more energy and was such a good boy playing fetch on our walks. He will still have a nice cuddle on the sofa too, in between the odd round of zoomies! We would highly recommend this sit to anyone.
Such an incredible sit with the kindest, sweetest soul that is Callie! One of a kind personality and truly once she warmed up, as she was very shy for the first day, it was such a blast to hang out with her, let her guide you in her routine (as she truly knows what she wants in the best way) and also explore the city as well! It was super hot so we didn’t get to do so much outdoors together but she loved her walks, chill afternoons, and back scratches!! Truly loved the location and it was during the Utah Arts Festival across the street so that was such a treat! Patricia was so helpful and communication was on point for everything! The apartment was amazing and again I feel very blessed to have had this sit and to be able to have soaked up all the magic of Downtown SLC, also the Farmers market was also something special to check out on Saturdays! Overall would highly recommend this sit and appreciate Patricia, the family, and Callie for this incredible experience!
