Darrin did a great job caring for our 2 senior dogs. He communicated well both before and during his stay and was quick to respond to all my inquiries. As senior dogs, their care is more complex. Darrin quickly learned their detailed feeding and medication schedule and was able to keep them on their regular routine. Additionally, one of our dogs has mobility problems and has a leg brace for short walks. He quickly learned how to place the brace and use it properly. She also has to be carried down stairs and lifted up and down from furniture which he is quite capable. We have a fairly extensive guide to our home as we are often traveling to places where we cannot be reached and Darrin displayed quick understanding our home's idiosyncrasies and we felt confident that he could deal with any issues that arose. When we first interviewed Darrin, we were a bit hesitant about the fact that he is accompanied by his 9 year old dog - a boston terrier pug mix- mostly because one of our dogs has become quite intolerant of other dogs in her old age. Darrin reassured us that his dog, Leo, was used to being around a variety of other dogs and deferred to dominate dogs. He was correct and after a few snarls from my Cleo he learned to give her a wide berth. Leo was quite well behaved and quickly fit into the pack. He seems energetic enough to keep up with active dogs and is also happy to relax and chill. Biggest issue was the similar names with both Leo and Cleo responding when either name was called! We returned to a clean house and happy dogs. He is a very reliable sitter and did a great job! Ninette Olympia, Washington
Having Gwenda sit for Chewy was an absolute delight. Chewy was cared for as if he were her own and the house was left clean and tidy. Gwenda walked Chewy everyday. I would not hesitate in recommending Gwenda for pet or house sitting and am hoping to have her come sit again soon. Highly recommend!!!
