Schubert might possibly be the best cat ever to hang with. Full of personality and very loving. Mark and Robin were very kind and generous. Beautiful house! Beautiful location!
I had a great time at Kimberly’s caring for Moose over the Christmas holidays. He‘s a very sweet and gentle dog, who loves long walks, sticks and playing fetch. Also, he loves to be around people and go everywhere you go ;-) Communication with Kimberly was great. She and her family showed me all the ropes, before they left and made me feel very welcome at their home. It’s modern, comfortable and located conveniently on the main street of Haimhausen, a hamlet about 30 minutes from Munich. There are plenty of trails in the area with fields, forest and a river which made walking Moose very easy and fun. And there are lots of things to do whether you like to spend time in nature or exploring Munich. Highly recommended for dog-lovers :)
Marie and Rob’s home was spotless on arrival and they made me very welcome with information in advance and were contactable throughout. Brambles was very easy to look after and a good companion during my 2.5 month stay. Great location a few minutes drive to Southbourne Sobo beach. Plenty of amenities nearby and a quiet, safe area. The house is in very good decor and neighbours are on hand if you had any queries, which I did not need but it was good to know there was a friendly face in Charlotte if necessary. Feeding the fish in the pond was a joy in such a beautiful garden and if you like indoor plants you will enjoy maintaining these too. A good base for relaxation and peace in between work.
Kyoko and Jim were the best hosts I could have asked for, and made me feel welcome in their home. They are super nice people, and clearly communicated everything I needed to know about the house and caring for their pets. Bandit and Coco are the sweetest dogs :) Coco seemed a little hesitant about me at first, but after not long you could find her curled up by my feet while I worked or cuddled up with me in bed. Bandit is so funny. He loves to play and cuddle too. He’s a great walker and listener. Their house is beautiful and in the prettiest neighborhood. I could walk around looking at all the big houses with varied architecture every day and not get bored. Lake of the Isles is just a few blocks away, and the views, especially with the fall foliage, are stunning. I’ll miss that daily loop and hanging out with the dogs. I would definitely come back and sit for Jim and Kyoko anytime!
