Wonderful experience in Dunedin ! This house sit exceeded our expectations as we had never looked after donkeys.Pim and Stuart invited us to stay the night before theIr trIp and made us very welcome. They showed us the routines and left a good instruction manual . We thoroughly enjoyed looking after Hoti , Travis, Lucy , Whistle and the chooks. It was a pleasure in such a beautiful home and we feel lucky to have had such fun on a house sit. To both of you- Thanks again for the opportunity . Our stay at Silvia and Johannes' place with Mono, Tigris and Bella was a really wonderful experience. Silvia and Johannes were so kind and thoughtful with welcoming us into their home and providing all the details about the pets and home for a lovely stay. Spending time with Mono, Tigris and Bella was such a treat! They are very adorable and sweet animals, each with their own personalities, which we really enjoyed getting to know. The home is bright and beautiful with lots of sunshine, which made for a really nice place to spend time with the three furry ones as they are social and fun to hang out with. The home is located near a canal with lots of green space which is perfect for taking nice walks with Mono. The neighbourhood is vibrant with lots to explore just around the corner. It was a pleasure to do the petsit at Eileen's. She has got a lovely house in a charming little hamlet. Her four (plus one) cats have all different personalities but after a while we managed to adapt to the habits of each one of them. Eileen was very welcoming and the accomodation was very comfortable with everything you could want for a pleasant stay. Even if we know this area well, we very much enjoyed this catsit and would be happy to do it again.
Sue and Chris are incredibly lovely, super responsive and made our stay so easy. Nala is so gorgeous, really well trained and very loving. Highly recommend!
Sheila is a wonderful pet mom who loves her babies. From the beginning, she was great with communication and making sure I had everything I needed and more. She made me feel so welcome in her home. Sheila had a wonderful welcome guide and didn't leave anything out. Her home was a reflection of her personality in the art and decor. The view from the deck is spectacular. I spent most of my time there during my stay. Her dogs Lakota & Rufus were so sweet. Rufus was a little more apprehensive but warmed up quickly. They took me on a tour of the local park and showed me all the best places to visit. My favorite playtime activity was using the laser pointer with Rufus! And it's so fun to watch the dogs play with each other. The cats were extremely easy & were so loving. The cats showed lots of love to the dogs, too. It is clear that this is a happy home. Thanks so much for sharing it with me!
My husband and I truly enjoyed our time being with and taking care of Homer — a mature Cocker Spaniel with an endearing and almost humorously spirited personality. :) Marna and her family were delightful, kind and most welcoming; and their home is perfect for comfy, casual indoor/outdoor living.
