Jeremy and Susan were so genuinely thoughtful and made their sit so comfortable and fun for us. Their home is dreamy in the hills of Pittwater Bay. They have a lovely kitchen with an outstanding view equipped with every gadget imaginable. The Pool is a super treat and beautiful beaches just a 10 minute drive away. Now lets chat about the main event. Monty, an 8 year old Beardie is just a doll. Very much chill and just wanting to be with you. He is on an simple, consistent routine that was easily a joy to fall into. He doesn’t require strenuous walks anymore, but is happy to meander with you on a walk or two (if you wish) each day. The neighborhood is like a tropical hilly paradise. We absolutely loved our time and wholeheartedly give them a 5 star recommendation. Thank you Susan and Jeremy for your trust.
We had such an excellent sit in Rotterdam! Mandela is just as cute as a button. He was very friendly and chill to look after, and we just could not stop looking at him - everything he did was the cutest thing in the world. He loved sitting on the desks with us while we worked from home, and slept all night on the bed with us. I cannot emphasise enough how cute Mandela is, it is heart melting. He was very good on walks and everyone wanted to say hello to him, which was so sweet. The first day or so you could tell he only wanted short walks and to go back home (I think to check if his humans were back), but he definitely got more confident with us and by the weekend we could walk him with us to get a coffee or pick up some lunch, which was lovely. It was super cute to see his little confident stride. We also took Mandela to a nearby UNESCO site, and this was the best. It was super dog friendly, he was able to come into all the interior exhibitions with us and a lot of it was outdoors too. He was an angel in the car. I would really recommend this if you can! Eugenio and Raquel were really sweet. Their house was beautiful and very clean, with a big guest bed. We loved their two desks and monitors for working remotely, and their comfy couch and TV for relaxing. They were walking distance to a train station (a very nice walk along a canal), which took us in to the city very quickly. Wifi was great, parking was easy, shops / coffee was a close walk (though they did also fill up their coffee machine for us before they left which was nice!) Everything was very clear and well labelled and they were easy to chat to and seemed like such lovely people! Overall a really great sit, would recommend.
We had an incredible time at Karen's place! Her house is absolutely stunning and spotlessly clean. It's tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood, yet conveniently close to everything we needed. Now, let me introduce you to Fozzie, Diego, and Zorro – these pets are simply amazing! They're not just adorable; they're clever, affectionate, and bursting with energy. They couldn't get enough of our attention and were always up for playtime! Honestly, we can't recommend this house-sitting experience enough. Karen and Tim are the warmest hosts you could ask for. They welcomed us with open arms and made our stay an absolute joy!
I had a fantastic time looking after Elai. He is a gorgeous fluff ball, easy to live with and he quickly familiarised himself with me once I started playing with him - we had a lot of fun playing hide and seek! Elai was a real treat throughout and I hope to look after him again very soon. Rosa was also a real pleasure to liaise with from start to finish too, great communication, easy instructions, and she made sure I felt home from day one - and I really did! Thank you!
My husband and I felt so honored to have the opportunity to stay in this beautiful home with sweet, loving Piper. We enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen every morning and sitting out on the deck, watching the birds visit the beautiful flower garden below. we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, and the town nearby is one of the most charming USA towns we have ever stayed at. The tree line streets and immaculate parks made for an incredible stay. There are hiking /running trails everywhere for those who like to exercise. We would come back in a heartbeat as there is so much left to explore that we were not able to this time around.
