Barrie and Yvonne were wonderful to sit for. I arrived a day before their trip, and they were incredibly welcoming. As this was my first house sit, I was a bit apprehensive, but I felt at home instantly. We had a relaxed afternoon in the garden with Arwen & Freya running around and rounded off the evening with a lovely meal. Their home and garden is really a beautiful sanctuary in a beautiful location and so relaxing to be in. Arwen and Freya are soo cute and adorable and a pleasure to look after. Arwen was a bit cautious the first few days, but once she got used to me she was fine. I thoroughly enjoyed taking care of them. The house sit was very well organised with detailed information in the welcome guide that was emailed to me as well as a printed copy in the house to refer to during the sit. Communication was excellent from start to finish. All in all, a great house sit! Thank you Barrie and Yvonne! I would love to sit for you again.
This has to be one of the loveliest sits we have done. The dogs are beyond adorable (although they do like digging trenches and chasing R-A-T-S!) They're both affection junkies but such good company. They sleep through the night and are no trouble when food is around. The house and garden are delightful and Trevor and Caroline made us so welcome. It was lovely to explore the island which has so much to offer. We would thoroughly recommend this sit but rather hope we might be offered a time-share!
Lori's housesit was perfect. Not only is Pippa the most wonderfully affectionate cat who was a delight (and very easy) to look after, but Lori's house is beautiful, clean and spacious. We saw a baby fox and baby dear playing together right next to her garden (seen from the window!) - what a lovely moment that we totally weren't expecting! Lori was great at keeping in contact whilst she was away via WhatsApp - she was very flexible with dates which really helped us. If you are thinking about doing this housesit - don't hesitate - lovely cat, lovely house and lovely friendly approachable people!
We had a lovely time looking after Larry and Pippa - they were an absolute dream, super chill and friendly. Sarah’s home has everything you could need and we were made to feel very welcome. It was super clean, had a nice outdoor area and is close to Grove Park Station which takes around 20 mins to get to the centre of London. Would happily sit again!
Michael and Adrienne welcomed us warmly, along with the very excitable Muffin. Their house is lovely and only a short walk (literally) to the local shops/restaurants, and a short drive to the major shopping centre (Orion). The lakes are stunning with plenty of walking tracks for hiking enthusiasts. It was a pleasure looking after little Muffin. Note: one might need to do a sock count before leaving though as I caught the little scallywag on numerous occasions sneaking off with them!! 🧦 For anyone looking for a relaxed easy going house sit then this is the one for you!! 🏡
Absolutely fantastic sit! I would absolutely come back! Ashley is a wonderful pet parent and communication with her was always clear and encouraging-I am so grateful to have been so warmly and kindly welcomed into her beautiful home! Olivia the meow is delightful and is such a sweet, gorgeous love-bug! It took a little while for her to warm up fully, but then we became best buddies! She is not much of a lap cat per se, but she did snuggle in my lap at one point❣️😻❣️, and also loved being close very often. She really enjoyed lots of petting and snuggles as she’d cuddle up near me… we formed a beautiful bond during my time there and I miss her already! She loves watching the birds and squirrels outside the window as they come to visit the birdfeeder….it was one of our favorite fun activities together most of the day! She also loves to play with her toys (when’s in the mood)…catnip helps a lot! She doesn’t play a lot, but when she does, it’s very fun. She’s beautiful and such a joy to photograph too! She also loves treats and will even eat them out of your hand sometimes! If you throw them, she will chase after them as well-so that can be another form of exercise. The neighborhood is wonderfully walkable with parks, restaurants and shops nearby. If you have a chance to go to the main library branch, absolutely go! It is a phenomenal experience-gorgeous and full of amazing art and history! Thank you so very much Ashley for choosing me to care for your sweet girl! 😻🖤🐈⬛🖤Olivia is a darling meow and I absolutely loved my time here with her! It was very difficult saying goodbye! Thank youuuu!😊
