Bo was the absolute sweetest! He’s in his older age so we just hung at the house and for fresh air we’d take a short but refreshing little stroll out on the outdoor patio. Allison was also a wonderful host, she made sure I was comfortable during my stay and was very responsive whenever I had any questions. The apartment and location were both lovely and made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay☺️
There are no amount of words to describe how wonderful our house sit was for Frankie, the cats and Bruno on this beautiful corner of paradise on the island of Crete. She initially invited us to come for 5 months, but due to Covid lockdown, that turned into a year-and-a-half. Frankie is one of the kindest, most easy going house hosts we've had, and we consider her a dear friend. The cats became our babies and we miss them to this day. And Bruno the Boxer dog was the the most endearing, lovable , sweet, gentle giant. Frankie's villa is set in a very peaceful setting, in the foothills of the imposing snow topped mountains of the Apakoronas region, down a goat lane, which we loved. There is something very calming about hearing the goat bells in the middle of the night. Her home is only a short walk to Vamos , the local village. The countryside is fantastic and the walks around the area magnificent. The charming old Venetian port town of Chania is an easy 25 mins car drive away and has everything you could possibly need. And the local beach at Kalyves is only 10 mins drive down the hill. We loved everything about our time at Frankie's and can't wait to return to our friends and lifestyle in Crete and look after the gorgeous, loveable zoo again. Thank you Frankie for inviting us to be a part of your life and becoming our dear friend along with your beautiful fur babies xxx

I had a great time taking care of Ben for five days. He was easy to look after, and the apartment was clean and nice. If you enjoy reading and writing, this place is perfect. Rebekah was new to TrustedHousesitters, but her welcome guide was thorough, and her instructions were clear.
Debbie and Tony were very welcoming and made the sit easy! They even fed us dinner when we arrived late at night. The cat’s (Audrey and Bridget) were very easy to care for and once they warmed up to us were very affectionate. We’d be happy to come back anytime 😊
Their house was super comfortable and the pups were super easy and sweet. We loved hanging out with them. It was a great place to chill for a while.

I have trusted Tina for many years for home visits to care for my rabbits and cat when we go away. She is really reliable, friendly, often goes above and beyond to ensure my pets are happy and well and always leaves things in a clean, neat and tidy way. Home visits mean my animals don’t have to go to unfamiliar kennels where they would be stressed out by all the other animals. Happy Pawz is a home from home experience for our cockapoo Monty - he’s been going to Tina for ad hoc daycare and home boarding since he was a puppy. Lovely long walks and he’s always happy to run inside. It’s a big relief to go away knowing Monty is having a great time and is cared for.
Tina and her family have quite literally opened their home to our little pup and we couldn’t be more thankful to the time and patience put in to building a solid relationship with her. I feel reassured knowing she is having a lovely day full of long walks (and a few treats thrown in for good measure). Highly recommend!

My dog has been going regularly to doggie daycare with Helen since he was a puppy. He cannot wait to get there and pulls me all the way from the car to meet his friends. In fact, I cannot tell him where we are going until I am ready to go out of the door as he gets so excited! Hamilton’s Dogs have been walking our dog for many years since he was a puppy, he absolutely loves Steph, we couldn’t ask for a better dog walker, she is so amazing with him, goes above and beyond. We've used Steph for a few years, mainly now for group walking of our younger dog. Reliable in pick up times, and our Labrador Lucy loves her walks, especially the variety of places they go (and with water visits!!!) . Our other, more elderly dog has been a guest at their hotel too and was very well looked after. Highly recommended to all.
Buddy absolutely adores Hamilton's Dogs. We signed him up shortly after we adopted him and it has done wonders for his socialisation and play. Every week he will race me to the back door so he can get to Steph, his whole bum wags with excitement, and when he gets back he'll zonk right out on the sofa. We are gradually introducing him to day care but we trust that Helen and Steph are going to look after him. I cannot recommend them enough!
Steph is a real star! Our Jack Russell Pebbles loves her and the other dogs she walks with, wish I could send her every day! As Pebbles is an old lady, I trust Steph to keep an eye on her and keep me updated on how she is, and I don't trust just anyone! Steph picks up and drops off which is great when you work full time! Can't recommend Steph enough! :)
Steph is amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker. She takes our little dog out during the week and always sends wonderful photos and videos so I can see the fun he's been having on his walks! She is wonderful with dogs and it is obvious she cares a lot about the dogs happiness. Barney is always fast asleep when I get in so I know he's been exercised well, and it's also great that he gets to socialise with other dogs! If I'm ever watching a video Steph has sent me of their walks and Barney is around, whenever he hears Steph's voice he runs up to the phone and starts wagging! If you are looking for a dog walker, I honestly couldn't recommend Steph highly enough.
Steph's amazing! Would highly recommend her to anyone :) my 8 month bullmastiff Peach loves her and the little pack of dogs she goes out with! I trust Steph a lot with Peach as she's taken time to get to know her and her style of play. Plus the pictures and updates she sends me whilst on walks with Peach gives me the confidence to say that Peach always has a fantastic time!

Sam has been looking after our Dog for a couple of years now, her family is his second family, he's as happy there as he is at home. We love seeing videos of his daily walks online, and if we go abroad on holidays we know both he and his tortoise brother will be happy and safe with her. Our groomer is always amazed by the reaction our dog has when Sam collects him from there, he's as happy and excited as when I collect him myself. Highly recommended.
Our dog Róka has thoroughly enjoyed her group walks with Sam over the past 9 months, ending only because we are moving away. Róka was always excited to see Sam and came home from walks happy and tired. Sam herself has been very flexible and responsive to changes in our schedules, and the pictures and videos that she took showed that Róka was having a great time. We would highly recommend!

My two dogs a Chihuahua called Gizmo and a Maltese pup called Frosty Snowman always come back tired, exhausted but extremely happy!! Jan & Dave love the dogs and treat them as their own. I always put my dogs into Mini's Retreat when we go away or often just for the day as it helps them to socialize as they are still very young dogs. Absolutely brilliant home dog boarding. Claire took such great care of Madge, giving her all the love and attention while I was away. I received regular updates and photos, which was lovely. Highly recommend Caroline. Our cockapoo Milo goes once a week and is always really happy to go in. Caroline has also had him for a odd weekend, which has been fantastic.

would totally recommend Caroline to anyone looking for Home Boarding. Maisy my 18 month old Cavapoo is very nervous with people and doesn't go to anyone. I was worried she wouldn't be able to stay with anyone else. I needn't have worried Caroline was amazing and so patient and good with her and she was fine and really enjoyed her stay. She has now stayed twice and is now her best friend and follows her everywhere and sits on her lap. I can go away knowing that she is very happy there and well looked after.
Have used Happy Home 3 times now, all at very short notice due to work commitments. Caroline made the process really easy and welcomed Wally wth open arms. Each time when I returned he has been calm and healthy, not the neurotic hyper Ive been left for months reaction you get when using a kennels. Definitely my go-to home for Wally when I need somewhere for him to stay. Excellent.
My lively springer spaniel has been going to Happy Home Dog Boarding for over three years now. Regularly twice a week and multiple stay overs whilst I go on holiday. My dog can't wait to get inside, tail wagging and absolutely loves it. Caroline is so accommodating to my ever changing schedule. Highly recommend.
We have been taking our 12month old dog to Happy Home Dog Boarding Bristol since the end of last year. She loves it and can’t wait to arrive dragging me to the front door in the mornings! Caroline had been brilliant, the dogs clearly love her and she has been so flexible helping us out at short notice on several occasions.

My chocolate labrador Bruno has been very well looked after by Caroline for a few years now. He loves going to stay with her, and trots in happily, tail wagging excitedly! Caroline replies promptly to messages, and has always been really helpful.

Nick is a fantastic dog trainer who I would recommend without hesitation. In his classes he clearly demonstrates his knowledge of dog behaviour and his care for each dog’s welfare. I currently attend agility classes with my 9-year old labradoodle Daisy. Whilst we had originally signed up for a 6 week course, 15 months later we’re still enjoying our weekly session. I think that says it all !!
We have known Nick now for around five years through Agility training. Starting with the Foundation class to present day. We would recommend Nick to anyone wanting to start Agility training with him, he is very knowledgable and you can tell he enjoys passing this on to you during training sessions.
Nick's agility classes are great, he has a lot of knowledge and is a good teacher. His teaching assistant Delta the collie is also very talented. Highly recommend his classes.
Nick not only gave us the tools and confidence we were lacking as a family through classes but he was, and still is, always available to help and answer any questions we have 12 months on. We have a very happy spaniel who is living his best life. Thanks Nick.

Monty stayed with Steve & Katie for an overnight trial. He isn't an easy dog & is a typical Collie! Katie was very welcoming on our arrival & made me feel very comfortable leaving Monty in their care. They also contacted me to let me know everything was going well which I really appreciated. They were very accommodating to Monty & understanding of his quirks. They have a beautiful setting which is a real home from home environment. When I collected Monty Steve gave me a thorough debrief of Monty's stay. Monty was very content & calm when I collected him which just shows how well he was looked after. I would highly recommend Woolmers Home Boarding & will definitely be using them in the future."
Steve & Katie are the only people we have found that have the both environment and know how to look after our Beagle. We met Steve when he came to us when Buddy was a puppy, in his capacity as a dog trainer. We were delighted when Steve and Katie started Woolmers and it goes without saying that a home boarding business run by a qualified and experienced dog trainer is going to be a cut above the rest. Their home is beautiful, set in a forest with lots of safe outside space. The dogs have access to lots of warm cosy beds and sofas with shared or private space if they need a bit of down time. Buddy has stayed with them many times and I always feel totally relaxed about leaving him there. He always returns looking happy and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
Our two girls (cockerpoo's) seem to love their stay here. Definitely would recommend using them to look after your beloved pooches.
