Mike
Mike was a terrific host leaving the house clean, comfortable and full of helpful notes for Baby’s care. Baby lives up to her name - sweetest cat, loves to cuddle, no problems at all.

Ah what can I say! 😄 - I had the most lovely and fantastic time meeting Ainslie and Steve, and of course adorable fluff Bingo! I enjoyed every second minding and spending fun moments with Bingo, exploring all the great walks and places in the area and Sherwood forest, and looking after Ainslie and Steve's beautiful and cozy home in the heart of Nottingham. I have to say I truly fell in love with the area, its a fantastic spot. I arrived a day early and received the most wonderful warm welcome, and the two showed me around the home and Bingos morning walk so I was well set up to enjoy my stay, which I did absolutely! I was well looked after by all information I was given and also local friends of Steve and Ainslie's were available just in case. Again I loved every moment, am really happy to have met Ainslie, Steve, as being such wonderful hosts and people, and of course mad happy whirlwind Bingo, and am looking forward to any next sit there!

Sue
Mike and Sue are lovely humans with great communication who prepared us well for everything we needed to know. They have a beautiful, comfortable home. It’s fully equipped and has great touches of their past travels and family sentiments.

The pups:
We loved getting to know each of the dogs and their unique personalities. They are all so sweet and relatively low maintenance making 5 to take care of easier than expected. We’d highly recommend arriving before mike and sue leave so they can show you the walking routine and route. It’s very peaceful and easy once you’re shown the ropes! The dogs (mostly Pilsner) like to get up early and will let you know if they need something!

The home and location:
The home is very comfortable and great for remote workers with 2 office set ups. The backyard is paradise with a hot tub, waterfall, and plenty of lounge space! The neighbors are very friendly and helped us with any questions we had, but Mike and Sue were also very responsive if we reached out to them. We had a fluke incident with the home while we were there and Mike, Sue, and neighbors all helped us get it resolved as soon as possible. The location is about 30 minutes from downtown CO springs so we spent a lot of time around the house relaxing. The manitou incline and garden of the gods are a must see if you’ve never been to CO Springs, but Sue and Mike will tell you everything you need to know about recommendations and things to do in the area!

Charlotte
Charlotte and Grahame welcomed us into their home like old friends. They were warm and hospitable. Charlotte had prepared a detailed guide on pet needs and how to use everything in the home as well as details re bins, recycling etc. it was incredibly helpful to be able to refer to this at anytime to refresh our minds on how and when to provide the best care for Coco, Dizzy and Rascal.
Coco is a delight and loved her walks and treats. She knows everyone locally and seems to be a hit with all the shop owners in Bradford. Dizzy and Rascal are affectionate and easy to love.
The house is beautiful (as per pics) and the bed and pillows are Devine. - like sleeping in a fluffy cloud. If you get an opportunity to house sit here then you have seriously lucked out. Thank you Charlotte and Grahame, Coco, Dizzy and Rascal for our wonderful week at Winsley xx

Ann
This was a brief, but very enjoyable sit. Ann was incredibly kind and generous. She picked me up from the train station and drove me back afterwards. She invited me to stay the night before the sit and again the night after, as I needed a place to stay for one night before the start of my next sit. She is also a top-notch cook and made me a fabulous dinner-- a recipe I will try to duplicate.

Ann has two strong, beautiful, sweet Golden Retrievers, Stanley and Renzo. I took them both for walks with her neighbour, Sarah, and Sarah's dog. Morning walks were in a nearby field and in the afternoon by the picturesque River Avon, with locks and canal boats. Her village, about three miles from Stratford , is lovely with listed properties, some with thatched roofs. It's not really walking distance to shops, unless you are OK walking almost three miles each way, which I did.

As Renzo is reactive to other dogs, he must be kept on a leash and watched. When Sarah was not available I walked each of the dogs separately.

Ann will be moving shortly. I'm sure her new home will be just as clean, attractive and comfortable as this one. Many thanks, Ann, for a delightful stay!
