We stayed 4 nights at Kerry and Stephen’s place looking after Bella, Mossy, Bentley, Morgana and Misty and they were no problem. Bentley being a terrier cross is a little more energetic than Bella and Mossy who are large dogs with beautifulI placid personalities. But they all get on well, there were no disagreements. Bentley will steal food so we knew to keep him apart till the others were finished. Morgana was very shy but Misty loved pats and cuddles. It helped enormously by us staying over the night before they left, as Kerry was able to go through all the specific feeding instructions with us and we also went for a walk with her and the dogs to the nearby beach. They all walk beautifully on the lead and obey instructions very well. Kerry also had everything written out clearly for us to refer to. Kerry’s is a compact 2 bed 2 bath brick home, beautifully renovated and styled. We had a very comfortable queen bed with a lovely new ensuite. There is a good size back deck which we really enjoyed relaxing on with all the pets as well as two comfy chairs out the front for an afternoon drink. There is a front fence so the dogs were able to sit out the front with us. Everything was so close, less than a ten minute walk to the beach, the shops (Woolies, Coles and Aldi), cafes, the Surf Club and RSL Club for great meals. Kerry and Stephen were kind and welcoming and always responded instantly to any queries or photos we sent. We have no hesitation in recommending this family to future sitters.
What a fabulous time we had looking after Bomber and Lego at Charlotte's home. Both pups are truly amazing, their recall is excellent and Lego never had to go on his lead once for the whole time we were out walking, we covered 17 miles in 2 days. Bomber would probably have been fine the whole time too but given he’s a puppy still and very excitable, we aired on the side of caution and he only went on the lead to pass another dog walker. The rest of the time he was off. Charlotte had given us some command words to use and they followed them like clockwork, walked amazing well and whilst they loved to run, once shouted back, they came straight away. It was an absolute pleasure to take them on long walks and it was obvious Charlotte spends a great amount of time training them. They were a delight. :-) Charlotte’s home is literally seconds away from miles and miles of fields to explore and these are fabulous walks, you forget how far you have gone. The pups were easy once back at home, chilled out, relaxed after walks and feeds, the only thing they needed us for was for plenty of fuss, kisses and cuddles, especially bomber, who just loved to come and place his head on your neck for a cuddle. The communication with Charlotte before, during and after the sit was great, a video call beforehand helped to get to grips with the pups routines and anything else we needed to know. All in all a wonderful weekend had with 2 amazing dogs. If your able to do this sit, snap it up, you wont be disappointed, they are the most adorable dogs you could look after. We really enjoyed our time with them. :-)
It was an absolute joy to care for Sammy and Findus! Anni and Johannes are a lovely couple who made our stay really comfortable and fun in their apartment. The cats are two very sweet boys who are very affectionate and made our stay such a pleasure. We would love to come back again and can’t speak highly enough of Anni and Johannes! A wonderful opportunity to experience some lovely German culture, the location is very well connected to the rest of Stuttgart and is easily accessible without a car. The surrounding area is very beautiful, perfect for anyone looking for a quiet and relaxed city break. Thank you so much for having us!
We recently spent 9 days in Le Peuch with Millie the cat. She bonded with us fairly quickly and was affectionate, gentle, and playful. We’re really going to miss her! The farmhouse, as mentioned in the profile, is being renovated but we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (including very fast WIFI – I work remotely and didn’t have any issues). Mark and Lynette were wonderful hosts and we would be happy to return.
We had an awesome time looking after Emma's home and her dog Scout during the Christmas period in Tokyo!! First let's start with Scout who is the star of the show and honestly so cute! She loves to play, likes lots of attention and has tons of energy but also loves her snuggle time and sleeping in bed with you. Walks were really fun and easy and Scout loves greeting everyone along the way, we miss her lots :-) We kept in good contact with Emma throughout our stay and sent her updates and pictures along the way and she was very welcoming when we first arrived which was lovely! The apartment is bright and cosy and it was really nice spending our Christmas there. It's in a good location, a nice and quiet area with supermarkets close by. We had a lovely time looking after Scout and Emma's home in Tokyo and would really recommend it as a good opportunity, thanks Emma!
Alessia was a great host! The apartment was clean and well located. Communication with Alessia was easy and helpful. Masik has a pleasant personality with expressive tail movements. It was fun to spend time with him. Overall the stay was nice!
