Danielle is one of the most hospitable hosts I have ever housesat for. A truly lovely, intelligent, and interesting person I so enjoyed spending time with on my first and last evening in London. A beautiful flat in a super cool area, conveniently located to both underground and overground lines. Serafina and Newton were a joy to sit for - simply adorable, loving, and warm animals that were super excited for a chance to meet a new human :) I would sit for Danielle again in a heartbeat!!!
The house is in a super nice residencial area ,Lila and Nando are the most especial cats o ever meet and the family , Nina and Gemma made me feel in home as part of them. which was super important to me as a solo female traveler. We had a respectful and affectionate fluid communication which made this an unforgettable experience. Thanks thanks thanks. If you want to apply to these house in other time please try your best because they deserved it :)
Malcolm and Jacquie were so wonderful and kind! They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their house is absolutely beautiful, well decorated and in a lovely location. The garden is gorgeous and tranquil. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer spot or couple looking out for us. The dogs are delightful. You do need to be up to the task of taking care of them, as they are big and strong and require a firm hand. Sonia is a nervous girl and is quite protective of the house, so she does tend to bark at times. Isla is a puppy and so has all the energy and cheekiness you’d expect to go along with that. Miley is very low maintenance but a bit of an old codger sometimes! Malcolm and Jacquie prepared us well with what we needed to be aware of to take care of them all. We loved spending time with these dogs as they were very sweet and playful and generally pretty chill with enough exercise. Thank you so much for letting us into your home, we’ll always appreciate the time we spent there!
I had a lovely, sunny week at Villacana. Lesley and Andy made me feel very welcome, Lesley cooked a very nice welcome meal. Little Brillo is an absolute sweetheart and very undemanding. The house is just a couple of minutes from the beach and on a lovely complex with the most beautiful gardens. I was there over Christmas when it was lovely and peaceful. The open fireplace made it very cosy in the evenings. It is easy to access by bus with a good service to both Marbella and Estepona just a few mins walk away. The house is undergoing a total refurb over the next few months and I hope to see it once it is completed.
Bailey is an absolute delightful dog and very affectionate, I will miss her! Very easy to walk as she never wanted to be out of your sight so never a problem when off the lead. Emily and her husband were both very welcoming and I felt very comfortable in their lovely home.
