Ian and Sally were very welcoming. They gave us clear instructions of their requirements, which were minimal. Their home and the village they live in was delightful and picturesque. We would happily return to their beautiful home and amazing gardens........especially the gardens which provided bountiful provisions.
I loved this sit! Mathieu and Mai's home is beautiful and comfortable. Mai walked the extra mile to meet me in person and introduce Benny a few days before. Benny is the sweetest boy. It took him to the dog park once or twice per day. I don't know who loved it more, me or him. He's a favourite with the other dogs and enjoys the stimulation of playing and running outside. He loves to play fetch but doesn't like giving the ball back. He has a very cute face and people asked about him many times. At home, he was calm and respectful. The first day, he was a bit mopey and it took a little bit for him to warm up to me - but soon we were besties. Gravy might be the most talkative and affectionate cat I've ever met. Mai said that he has no understanding of personal space or he definitely doesn't care about your comfort. You have to LOVE cats before you say yes to sit them, cause he'll be all over you all the time. He loves cuddling and making biscuits, and he'll talk to you just because he can. Mathieu & Mai, thank you for trusting me with your home and your pets. It has been an honor!
We had a great time sitting for Julia and Kody Kiddy! Julia and I did a video call before I arrived and she was available for questions throughout my stay. Kody Kiddy has a lot of personality and loves treats! He was a little shy at first but quickly warmed up and liked to cuddle and play
I had the pleasure of pet sitting Bean for a week. He is a wonderful dog. He enjoyed playing tug of war at various times of the day. He is well mannered and listens. I am able to work remotely, and Bean would hang out with me while I worked. On our walks he was well mannered. The neighborhood in McKinney has golf courses incorporated into the area while being very nice residential and safe. Jean and Robert are delightful. Jean and I were able to chat while we waited for her Robert to arrive. She left clear instructions for both Bean and the house. I had a great time pet sitting Bean and would gladly sit for Jean and Robert again.
Janie’s home and pups are super! I took Mario and Jack for walks morning and evening, after breakfast and dinner and they were happy as clams! Jack wants Mario to get off the couch but you can put one pup on each side and they are the snuggliest! I also gave the little fellows a bath upstairs in the guest bathroom and they were both very gracious about being scrubbed. This two story carpeted condo is right on the beach. Your guest room enjoys both view and the sound of the Monterey Bay. I can’t wait to return. Thank you Janie for ALL of your hospitality!
Tamara's home was charming and comfortable! The doggies were very well behaved, extremely sweet and full of joy. I loved spending time with them! Walks were a breeze as long as we crossed the street when we saw somebody. Tamara was communicative and instructive. Overall a great stay!
