We thoroughly enjoyed our urban stay at Melissa's modern, comfortable place in a boutique apartment building virtually a block from the Boston Common. Melissa was very easy to communicate with and responsive to all our questions. Best of all were her two sweet dogs. Yes they are initially a bit timid but they do warm up to you quite nicely. We became very attached to both doges in just a few days and hated to leave them at the end of our stay. We highly recommend this dog sitting opportunity.
Steve’s home is beautiful. It’s in a lovely suburb about 25 minutes from downtown and close to beaches. His backyard is fenced and stunning, and Pearl loves playing out there! Pearl is a true sweetheart who just loves to be loved and by your side. She’s really easy going and playing with her is easy - she’s like actually a great ball or frisbee partner. She’s easy to take care of too, she has her routines. Charlie is one of the most beautiful cats I’ve ever met and he’s soooo fluffy and let’s you snuggle him. He’s absolutely stunning. I got to sit for Steve over thanksgiving week with some friends (thank you again); Steve’s home was a joy to sit for.
Niebke offered me to come the night before, because I would like to meet her before the sit. It would have been fine for her if I had arrived some time during the day after she left. I found it very nice with the flexibility, also the day of my departure. I told her about my food allergies, and she had looked up places where I could go to buy groceries that suited my allergies. So nice. And Pilov.. Well there was a lot of snuggles and just chilling. A bit of playtime and time spent on the balcony where we were watching the cars and people go by. He also snuggled with me at night. He´s a great cat!
My stay at Kathryn’s was great! Their sweet pup Ziggy was very mellow and easy to care for. He loves belly rubs and treats; once he warms up to you he’ll follow you from room to room so you definitely won’t get lonely! Their house is beautiful and situated in a lovely area. Communication throughout the sit was a breeze and I would happily sit for them again in the future if our schedules align. 😊
Sumit and Chaitali were very accommodating by allowing us to stay the night before the sit as they had to leave early the next morning, and the night after the sit as they arrived home after dinner. Mishti was easy to care for, and loved nothing better than to cuddle up next to us on the lounge of an evening. It was a pleasant three days and four nights.
I had such a pleasant stay at Juan-Mari’s! Milo is such an easy, lovely dog to care for. He loves his food and only asks for some loving pats and a walk every other day! The location was peaceful and in a lovely family neighbourhood, I felt safe as a solo young woman. It typically took about an hour on the train to get to the centre of London. The interior of the home is very modern with great appliances for cooking (including an air-fryer), plus netflix etc. for entertainment. The house was easy to keep spotless, especially with the bonus of a cleaner coming every week! Juan-Mari was always there to answer any questions, and made me feel welcome and at ease. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this sit to anyone who gets the chance!
