Truly an Incredible Family to House Sit for !! Amazing communication, we shared a beautiful calm & fun introduction to the neighbours/hood, Farmers market, beaches, Grocery Store, Hospital, 2 Main Surrounding Towns, and all Home details Tour prior to their departure, a generous gesture I appreciated. Dinner together and a few days hanging and getting to know each other, contributed to a wonderful experience. Thrilled to have this opportunity of meeting this lovely unique Family and taking care of their healthy & happy Cats, Luna & Mars. They are both very content, and a pleasure to be around. Jess has quite the fabulous zoo! I never went without a fur buddy (or 3) to cuddle and they keep each other entertained too, plus, before the week was out, I was lucky enough to get “kisses” from Persie. Hades was still a bit shy of human interaction, didn’t stop him from chatting away while you’re taking care of their food/water. Couple minor things came up, to which she rapidly responded to & resolved. All the furry/feathered love you could ask for at a beautiful home, on a quiet culdesac…paws-itively purr-fect!
I enjoyed my pet sit at Emma and Tony's sweet terraced home in a quiet and safe neighborhood in Lindfield, West Sussex. The home is located a stone's throw away from the woods and green common spaces where I walked Frodo. Frodo is quite the charming and happy gentleman and so very well-behaved in and out of the house. Frodo can be walked off the leash once in the forest area. Frodo may leave the forest path for a minute to explore the wood and will always come back on his own accord or rapidly through recall. At the time of my stay, Sushi was a young very cute kitten and Frida a pretty older kitten; the kitties were becoming familiar with one another and proving to get on quite well. Frida was allowed to go outside for some exploration through the back garden door once daily while learning the lay of the land, with Sushi safely contained elsewhere in the house. Under my watch, Frida would return from her exploration of the great outdoors after about 60-90 minutes. I found my stay in Lindfield easy without a car. The walk to town with nice shops, pubs, and restaurants is less than 10 minutes away -- a couple minutes by car, and a beautiful garden-style pub with excellent food is a just a 5-minute walk. For arrivals and departures to the housesit, the Haywards Heath train station is an 8-minute drive by car or taxi to the house, or buses are available for a good portion of the way to Haywards Heath combined with less than a 10-minute walk -- of no more than 20-minutes total bus and walk. For visiting Haywards Heath, I generally preferred to walk from Emma and Tony's, which takes about a 30-minutes.
Alisdair and Alison were very welcoming into their lovely home. Staying on the island with the two lovely dogs was a treat, and the hosts left a very comprehensive guide that answered any questions I had. Overall a great trip with lots of gorgeous walks around the island. Would love to stay again!
It was a pleasure looking after Hades, he is a beautiful and lovely cat. Enrica is very welcoming, we had dinner and breakfast together and we had nice chat. Her home is spotless and cozy. The house is a bit far from the main road so it is incredibly quiet, but you have lot of shops and transports in walking distance. I recommend this cat-sit, thanks Enrica.
