I loved housesitting for Marian and Peter. This was without a doubt one of my favorite housesits! They welcomed me into their home the day before they left. They had prepared a lovely meal for me and we spent hours talking and getting to know each other. Their house is so beautiful, and I felt at home instantly. It's in a quiet village, but not too isolated (I was perfectly fine without a car). It was just what I needed! I bonded with the pets right away and received so much love and attention from them. There was never a dull moment during my sit, and I never felt alone, because I always had a dog or a cat right next to me. The dogs also made me laugh a lot due to their funny personalities! There are plenty of lovely walks nearby, and although the weather wasn't great during my stay, I still thoroughly enjoyed all of our long walks. The dogs were often off the lead during our walks, and they are great with most other dogs! The cats were wonderful as well. Kiwi is a quiet one, but she will come and seek some cuddles every now and again. Minstrel is a hilarious cat, who loves attention and food! It was very difficult to say goodbye to all of the pets. I had a lovely time with them, and I will miss them dearly. I highly recommend this housesit to anyone, and I wouldn't hesitate to return.
