We were privileged to have Leslie back at mine to care for Buckie and Fyvie and my house. Leslie is a fabulous lady who is just the best sitter. She treats the cats so well I think they are disappointed when I get home. But I am delighted they are so happy and so well cared for. It means I can relax when I am ok. Leslie also takes impeccable care of my home. Couldn’t recommend Leslie more highly.

Terri was great! She connected with Serrano and Hatch right away which was important for my husband and I. Terri listened carefully to instructions regarding the pets, the plants, and our home in general and when we returned our dogs were happy, our plants were flourishing and our home was cleaner than when we left. She also communicated with me daily sending me pictures of our dogs. I would highly recommend Terri as a pet and house sitter and would love to have her back. Thank you, Terri

Adele and family were absolutely wonderful - the minute they arrived the pets all welcomed them and were clearly cuddled and walked and generally loved. The house looked as though noone had been here - everything spotless, clean and tidy and bedding in washing machine. They were delightful people and we were not sure we wanted to go away as we had so much fun with them at supper the night before. If you manage to get them to look after your house/pets - you will be very, very lucky.

Gabbie was a fantastic sitter for dog Ollie! She was very communicative before and during the sit, making sure all logistics were in line with our schedule and ensuring us Ollie was doing well. We were lucky enough to have some time before we left to get to know her and she is very warm and kind. We came home to a clean house and a happy pup. Would love to have her back if she ever visits Baltimore again!

Lucia and Chris did an amazing job taking care of Shadow and Lola. Both our pets were sad to see them leave. We received regular updates and were totally at ease that our pets and home were cared for while we were traveling.

Jasmine took great care of our Australian shepherd and was an amazing house guest. She planned her travel around was which wasn’t expected but very helpful and she even cleaned our fridge. Our dog was so happy when we came home we know she did a great job while we were away.

Ellis was an incredible sitter. During our initial video call, he asked what my ideal was in terms of communication and check ins. He lived up to my dream scenario and then some. Ellis was very self sufficient but also communicated with regular updates and details to both keep me feeling relaxed and also to ensure that the cats were getting the exact care that they needed. He kept the apartment in great shape and it was clear that the cats really enjoyed his company. This was not an easy sit by any means. 5 cats with varying personalities and needs and dynamics. Ellis administered meds to my cat with hyperthyroidism and to my foster cat with neurological issues who was put on two antibiotics unexpectedly right before my trip. He navigated it all with ease and attention to detail. Thank you so much, Ellis. We appreciate you so much.

Robert

Bob was very friendly and eager to meet our dogs. He obviously LOVES dogs. He took them on adventures and took amazing pictures of them and left a beautiful and thoughtful picture book of all the pictures he took. It is obvious he really cares for dogs. I would suggest writing things down for him though. We also have chickens and there were several occasions where the chickens were let out too early or too late. chickens are easy, however, they do have a schedule. A couple of times I wasn't able to get a hold of him and had to ask neighbors to open or close the coop. The house was clean for the most part, however, it appears grease was spilled on patio and no attempt to clean. Other than that, all laundry was done and general state of house was clean and tidy.

Ashley was friendly, reliable and took great care of our dog and two bunnies. I was able to enjoy our time away without worry. She was responsive when I wrote to her and sent pictures when requested.

Lesa

Lesa was very responsible and attentive to the animals’ need and took great care of the house. She communicated with me daily sending photos and updates on the dog and cats. I’d be happy to have Lesa stay here again.

This was a wonderful sit!  Joanna and William were so welcoming of me into their home.  Joanna provided great instructions in a welcome guide;  even information on expected behavior of each of the animals which was spot on and very helpful.  We were able to meet the day before the sit to go over everything, so I felt really comfortable getting started the next day and caring for Roxy, Raven, and Ziggy.  They welcomed any questions I had and were easy to communicate with while they were away.  

Roxy has such a sweet, gentle spirit and was so loving and fun to be around.  I loved taking walks in the neighborhood with her each day.   Ziggy and Raven were mostly independent, spending time indoors and outside, but would come to say hello occasionally.  

Joanna and William’s home and the surrounding area is so beautiful and peaceful.  It was a wonderful week with sweet, loving animals to care for and spend time with and I’d be happy to return in the future.

I can’t say enough about Terry, Carl and Zoey.  Sweet, kind, loving and easy going.  Zoey is a doll and such great company and easy to care for. I truly hated to leave her. Had wet eyes as i said good bye.  But hope I will see her again.  The home is awe inspiring and just spectacular! Terry and Carl are the most gracious, welcoming and generous of hosts.  Terry gave complete instructions and was in touch so I felt comfortable at all times.  I loved Saratoga, its rich history, charming architecture and vibrant downtown .  This sit exceeded expectations in all respects.  I highly recommend this sit for a heart warming and comfortable experience.  I only hope i can return.

Romeo is a sweet, lovable pup. He loves treats, playing with his toys, and going on walks. Elizabeth and Ed were generous and kind hosts. They left detailed instructions for Romeo and the house, so we were never in the dark about what needed to be done. We'd 100% sit for them again!

Kiki & Mouse were easy cats to look after, with the latter never far away from wanting affection. Amanda’s house is in a delightful area of Harrogate & the orientation was straightforward, with a back up guide provided for handy reference. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here & it was a pity that Rose was unable to come too. The weather was generally benign & there’s lots of interest in the local area & further afield. The loan of a bike was an added bonus & there are handy buses & trains for getting around. Thanks for a lovely time. Peter.

Tammy and Joe are simply the best!!!!!!
I would highly recommend this sit! Their dogs Casper and Marple are the sweetest and well-behaved dogs I have ever encountered. When I sat for them, Casper and Marple were my shadows  which was so sweet and comforting. I loved my daily snuggles with Marple and giving Casper lots of back scratches and dog treats! I miss them already! In addition, to taking care of the dogs, I would water their plants and make sure the trash was taken out at the end of the week.

The 3-story house is gorgeous with an amazing fenced in front and back yard. which was so convenient! I could let the dogs out during the day to sun bath. The house also has a beautiful screened in back porch which I loved sitting back there with a good book to read. Overall, the house is well decorated and very comfortable. Location wise, the house is in a great location in Takoma Park where I loved the convenience of walking a few blocks to get on the metro or grabbing homemade donut at the local donut shop, Donut Run. Sometimes, I would do both! 

Tammy and Joe were great at preparing me for the stay and were very communicative throughout the process. They showed me around the house and introduced me to Marple and Casper ahead of time, so I felt well-prepared for the sit. In addition, Tammy was kind enough to drive me around the town ahead of time to know where to go for take out or good cup of coffee. Lastly, they left me a guide for how to care of the house and the dogs which was greatly appreciated! I would gladly sit for them again!!

Suzanne Louise

The Gers is a truly beautiful part of France and Suzanne and Robert’s house was very cosy with a wonderful real fire in the sitting room and everything else you could possibly want. The nearest village (3kms) had a little shop and a bar/restaurant and was lovely to walk around. Just one hour south and you were in the Pyrenees so I can't recommend this sit enough for its location alone.

As for the cats - Rascal and Honey were wonderful to look after. Rascal just loved being around you and always wanted to see what you were up to. He would sit on the table while I worked on my laptop or come and find me if I was sitting on the veranda outside enjoying the sun. Honey was a little quieter but would always come out for a stroke when it was dinner time. Both were well mannered and adorable, and I miss them already.

Suzanne and Robert immediately made me feel at home and couldn’t have been more kind and helpful. I would certainly recommend this sit for anyone who wants to get away somewhere nice and quiet and enjoy the wonderful French countryside. 10/10!
