Housesitting for Pamela and Glen was a delightful experience for us as first time sitters. Pamela is extremely organised, both her welcome guide (which we received prior to arriving for sit) and tour of the house were very informative. We were put at ease having all the necessary details about the house and kitty care. All four cats were adorable and was really fun to see their different personalities as we got to know them. If a bit shy at first, they warmed up to us quickly and even slept with us on the bed! We loved spoiling the kitties with playtime, brushing and chin rubs, and got a lot of loud purrs in return ❤️ Pamela and Glen own a beautiful house, where you will feel at home in no time. The house is cosy, the wood fire kept us toasty and smelled wonderful. We enjoyed staying at the village, with its stunning beach and great conditions for star gazing at nighttime. Thank you Pamela and Glen for being wonderful hosts and trusting us with your home and beloved cats and for delicious homemade kombucha.
We had an amazing time sitting for Steve and Brenda! Chewie and Moo Moo were the absolute best doggos to look after, Chewie was super chill and Moo Moo was a bundle of fun. Both dogs have such wonderful personalities and we already miss their company. The house had everything that we needed and more, in a perfect location that is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood close to the beach and shops. Steve and Brenda were so friendly, generous and accommodating. Communicating with them was a breeze! We will definitely dog/house sit for them again in the future. Thanks for having us!
Nora & Raniero are very friendly and welcoming hosts. The cats are easy to look after and very much into their food. They love human attention and occasional playtime. Their quirky, colourful home is well equipped and feels like a private retreat in the city.
Wendy has a very comprehensive book about the house and the dogs. Her house is really bright and in a great location. She also was available online if any questions arose. I would return.
Spending time at Helen and Simon's home feels truly like being on a peaceful nature retreat, only made better by the loving nature of their dog Brodie who besides being super cute is such gentle company. There lovely home is a modern converted upside down barn with the living spaces upstairs extending out onto a seamless glass porch with uninterrupted views across the rolling hills of Somerset - here you can sit whatever the weather. I have been travelling in the countryside in the UK and Europe now for nearly a year, so it was such a refreshing change to be staying in a truly modern conversion that is so sensitive to its environment and is woven into the landscape so expertly. There are walks from right outside your door here but if you can drive and explore the truly stunning Quantock Hills you won't be disappointed. This area is abundant with ancient woods and moors and an amazing under explored coastline that is simply spectacular. We hope to come back again as this part of the UK is fast becoming one of my favourite places. Most important though is Helen and Simons warmth and generous welcome. We were not lacking for anything during our visit.
Porridge is a sweet and loving cat who loves to keep to his routine, cuddle up at night, and purr from the heart once he warms up to you. Sara and Gen are easy going and responding immediately whenever you have a question. They appreciated the daily updates and left crystal clear instructions for everything you would need to know. Their condo is located in a quiet gated community close to everything that makes Pasadena wonderful. It was easy to both be comfortable in their space and attend to all the things that you would need to make sure they returned to a clean place and happy kitty Kat. They're awesome.
